: Chapter 21

Minsi growls inside of me. 'Him again,' she says.

'Let's deal with this,' I tell her.

"And what do you want now?" I ask him.

He smiles and lets go of my waist, "I was missing my queen so I brought her here," he says.

I chuckle, "One, I'm not your Queen. Then two, I want to go back to my Alpha," I tell him.

"Arcane..," he says. My name escaped out of his mouth smoothly sending a shiver down my spine. "You changed," he says.

'Of course, you think she changed, it's not her, damn it!' Minsi growls.

"Shut up little wolfie, I'm not talking to you," he says.

'This little wolfie has a name,' Minsi replies.

"Whatever, bye," he says as he waves his hand.

I feel Minsi going away from me. 'Minsi!' I yell.

"Since she's now gone, where were we?" he says as he leans to my face pining me on the wall.

"Leave me alone!" I shout. I knew I couldn't shove him away so I attempted to hit where it hurts.

But as I said before the man was super agile. He moved at an inhumane speed. Before I could do anything else, he grabbed my wrist and turned me around. His arms encased me to his body, but at the same time stopped me from touching him. My entire backside touched his front and although he could verbally deny it, I could feel his hard erection pressed against my back.

"Let me go!" I shout.

He came to my ear and whispers, "Don't test me Arcane. I'll suck you dry".

"You think you scare me...Dracula," I say sarcastically.

He gives me a heated stare that made me shut up instantly. "What was that?" he asks raising one of his eyebrows.

"Leave me alone," I whisper.

"You think I'm going to leave you alone? Think again Arcane. I've been waiting for too long, I can't wait any longer," he whispers leaning to my neck. He slightly kisses it making my body relax. I felt my entire body getting warm in just some seconds. This guy sure had some games up his sleeves. "Do you still remember that day?" he pauses, "That day when you gave yourself to me". He kisses my cheek. "The day when that pup came and took you away from me Arcane," his voice was dark like chocolate but it stuck to me like honey.

'Pup?' I was confused.

I suddenly felt slightly dizzy from the musky scent he was emitting. It was good. He turned to me as his crimson eyes sliced me in half. In seconds he was pulling me into his lips, hard. Our mouths crashed together like two deprived addicts finally getting their fix after being famished with their narcotics for too long. I winded my fingers through his hair as he grabbed me by the nape of my neck and pulled me closer. His other hand traveled down my back to my waist. We went on until he finally let go leaving me panting for air.

I heard a voice in my head. It was low and faint. 'Luna..,' it says, 'Don't forget Blake. Your mate...our mate'.

'Blake? Whose that?' I ask.

'Our mate,' it replies.

I chuckle and tell it, 'Mate. Adonis is my mate...my king. And I'm not your Luna. My name is Arcane, Arcane Valentine'.

It whispered a few things that I couldn't hear correctly, but who cared? I wanted to concentrate on my king. As I pull him close by the collar I hear a voice coming from our left. When I saw the person my senses came back.

"Blake..," I whisper letting go of Adonis.

"Luna!" he shouts. He looked malicious and so did Adonis. Great. Two enemies had met each other.

"So you came....little pup," Adonis says.

"I came here for my Luna dear...cousin," Blake says.

'Cousin!,' I say in my mind 'How big is your family?'.

"Mind you, you took her from me. She is mine," Adonis replies.

"She left you for me," Blake says.

Okay, now I was getting confused. 'Who left who for who?' I ask myself. I felt my headache. I felt dizzy. The last thing I could recall was Adonis's crimson eyes narrowed on me like crosshairs.

I wake up sweating. It was all a dream, a stupid f**k**g dream. If Adonis and Blake were to meet they would surely tear each other apart. 'My past..,' I tell myself, 'I have to know my past'. I go downstairs to find Mom and Dad talking to Blake.

"Good morning," I whisper as I walk into the kitchen.

Mom looked tense. I pull out a mug and pour myself some coffee. I exit the room to be caught off guard by Blake. He picks me up and starts spinning me around. "My coffee!" I shout.

'Rip...Coffee,' Minsi says.

I could feel her chuckling. 'It's not funny Minsi!'.

My mug was now on the floor broken to pieces, the coffee splashed on the marble floor. I don't like it when someone intervenes in my moment with my coffee. "Blake!" I shout, "Let me go! And go make me another cup of coffee".

"What if I say no?" he asks.

"Are you testing my patience?" I ask him.

"No, I'm just trying to make you angry," he replies.

"Well it worked," I start kicking him with my legs and hitting his head.

"Ouch," he says, "Okay okay, I'll let you go only if you promise not to kill me".

"I hope you do know promises are the sweetest lies," I tell him.

He places me down and races out of the house shouting, "Prepare your bags, we are leaving in the afternoon for MLU".

'MLU?'.

'MoonLight University blockhead,' Minsi says.

'Who asked for your help?' I roll my eyes.

I go upstairs and take a shower. I didn't know what to wear so I asked Liana for assistance. Well, it was a big mistake because my and Liana's fashion senses were very different. She was just suggesting pencil skirts and dresses because they are formal and will be okay for a start. I decided to wear a sports skirt and I string top. I wore my black pantyhose and white sneakers. I took a hoodie in case by chance it would be cold there. I couldn't believe I was going to leave Mom, Dad, Nana, Zane and Ria here. I was really going to miss them. I wanted to spend time with my friends because for the past 4 weeks we haven't be talking a lot. Blake wouldn't let me but today he wasn't going to stop me.

Luna: Hey guys👋🏻

I wait for them to reply but the chat was dead. I decide to go downstairs and to my surprise I see them there. Blake was there too. They run up to me and cuddle me. I missed this. "Group hug!," we shout. We giggle as we part.

"I missed you guys," I say, "I'm sorry I didn't talk to you much, someone...," I eye Black who didn't even care at all, "..deprived my independence".

"Don't worry girl, we understand," Ria says giving me a reassuring smile.

I couldn't help but shed a tear. "Come on, why cry? Those tears are not meant to be wasted," Zane says.

I bring them into an embrace, "You two sure are the best. I'm going to miss you".

"Of course you will miss us dumb ass," Ria says giving me a hard slap on my forehead.

"Heyyy, what if my forehead becomes big!" I yell.

"It's already big, what are you worrying about?" Zane says sarcastically.

"Zane!" I shout.

"Lulu!" he shouts back.

"Urg," I scoff.

I missed this a lot. If only I had a little more time. I hear the car beeping outside. "Thats our cue," Blake says getting the bags. Zane and Ria help us carry them to our car. We get into the car and we set off for our journey. I felt so hurt because mom and dad were not there to say goodbye but they left me a video. They went back to Tokyo. The journey was long but at least I had Blake by my side. The driver was in the front seat and we were in the back seat. He had lifted the privacy window so that the driver would hear or see us. "Blake," I whisper.

My face was on his chest as his hand were around me. Giving me warmth.

"Mmm," he answers his eyes closed.

"Is it possible to have relatives that are not werewolves?" I ask him.

"Depends," he pauses, "It's just like you, you are half Lycan and Werewolf. If your lycan genes are stronger and overpower your werewolf gene, you might end up full lycan. So yes, yes it's possible," he explains.

"Do you have any?" I ask him hoping to get the answer that I need but only to get a, "I'm not sure".

I just let it go because I don't think he wanted to talk about it. I shut my eyes and slowly drift to sleep.
