: Chapter 16

"Luna Emerson," he says.

"Good Morning Mr Grey," I reply.

"I'm sure you know why we called you here," he says.

"Not exactly," I reply.

"Blake has told us about your attack 5 days ago and it seems like it wasn't the first time. We want to make sure you are very safe," he explains.

"I'm very safe sir," I tell him.

"You might feel safe but you actually are not Miss Emerson," he says.

Blake coughs then says, "It's Mrs Williams".

Haley laughs but the principal wasn't shaken by the statement. "Miss Emerson, we want to reassure your parents that you are safe and so we will be transferring you to another school with high security," he tell me.

"B..but sir," I whisper, "I don't want to go. I want to stay here with my friends".

"We know Miss Emerson but we have no choice. Your parents already agreed and they told me that whether you agree or not, you are being transferred," he informs me.

"What! Don't I also have the right to make my own decision?" I shout.

Blake firmly slips his hand into mine and gently holds it.

"I accept," he says, "If she is being transferred so will I. Where ever my luna goes so does her Alpha".

I felt my heart loosening. 'Cheesy,' Minsi says, 'Does that mean if I go into bed he will follow too?'.

'For goodness sake Minsi, this is not the time to joke around,' I tell her.

'I was just asking but okay,' she says.

"If your parents approve," the principal answers him.

"They undoubtedly will," Blake says taking a quick glance at me then back at the principal who was thinking about it.

"If Blake is coming with me I'm okay with it," I say. I squeeze his hand and slightly smile.

"Okay then. I'll get your records fixed and sent to the school," he says.

We turn around to leave but a question pops into my head and I couldn't help but inquire, "If I may ask sir, which school are we going to?".

"I think it's called MoonLight University," he replies.

'MoonLight University,' I assert in my mind, 'I hope I'll fit in'.

'Don't sweat it, even if you don't fit in, you have Blake,' Minsi reassures me.

I knew Blake would be there by my side but I also wanted my friends to be there. I sure am going to miss them.

For the next few days I was stuck at home. Nothing to do, no one to talk to. Mom and Dad had gone to Tokyo for a business meeting, Liana was at school or went shopping with her friends. Nana...she is boring. Blake would come here and there but he would most likely be at the pack house helping his dad solve problems there. I felt so lonely.

I sat stiffly on my bed my laptop on my lap and a packet of chips lay beside me. My whole mind was drawn in the laptop until black smoke appeared in the room. I felt so dizzy. I see two large figures approaching me. They help me stand up and start leading me to what seemed like a hole on the wall. I try to escape from their grip but I couldn't, I couldn't find the power to. We enter the hole and everything turns dark.

I wake up in a room. It looked luxurious and elegant. The walls where painted pearl-gray and there was a vast chandelier in the middle of the ceiling, that made the room more fascinating. I lay in a bee that had lovely blue covers and its texture was something I've never felt before. I sit up straight to find a man sitting across the room on a couch. His eyes where shut and I assumed he was asleep.

'Minsi..,' I say in panic, 'Do you know where we are?'.

I wait for her to respond but it seemed like she was...gone. 'Minsi! Are you there?,' I shout.

'Mmmm,' I hear her growl, 'Ouch, my head'.

I sigh in relief, 'You're okay. For a moment I thought you were..,' I say but an unknown voice speaks and I guess I knew whose it was.

"You've finally woken up," he says.

I just stare at him watching every movement he does. He stands up and walks up to me. 'Don't let him touch you,' Minsi says.

'Why?,' I ask.

'Because..,' she says but the guy interrupt her.

"Because I'm a vampire," he says.

'How?,' I say in my mind.

"Vampires can read minds. I amend, I was just curious at what you were thinking in that lovely mind of yours," he says, "And I won't hurt you. I mean you won't get hurt".

"Oh," I whisper.

"I've been waiting for 211 years for you Arcane," he says.

'Arcane?,' I ask myself.

"Oh silly me, you lost your memory. I'm Adonis Valentine," he introduces himself.

"Could you stop reading my mind and where am I? Why am I here," I ask him.

"Sorry, I just can't help it," he pauses, "You're home Arcane. Remember when we used to run up and down the stairs," he says.

"Home? This isn't my home. Take me back," I shout.

"Arcane, you are not allowed to talk to your king like that. You can't speak to your fiance like that," he says.

'Blake?'. I laugh and say, "Blake, stop it. You are caught".

"Blake?," he asks, "It's Adonis".

"Haha very funny Blake. Let's go home," I say getting out of bed.

I go up to him and grab his hand. I didn't feel the same way I did whenever Blake and I had skin contact. I would feel warm but now it's a different feeling. A feeling I couldn't describe. I try to drag him but he couldn't budge.

"What are you talking about? Who is Blake," he says.

'I said don't touch him. And he isn't alpha, are you stupid!,' Minsi scolds me.

I let go of him and back off. "Alpha..," he whispers and after some seconds his face turns cold, "You mean that brat".

"Excuse me! That's my mate you're talking about," I shout.

"Mate?," he says laughing, "Oh please Arcane. He is a fiance stealer".

'Tell him to get you home. I don't like him,' Minsi growls.

"I don't like you too, little wolf," he says with a smile on his face.

I don't want to lie but he is kind of attractive. A straight nose, sharp cheekbones and jawlines. His skin was as white as snow and his pink lips were thin but perfect. He even smelled good. I liked the structure of his body, his height was perfect. Not too tall not too short, just right. I could clearly see his biceps through the dress top he was wearing, but I shouldn't be turned on by him. I had a mate, and I needed to go back to him.

"Take me back. I'm not her, I'm Luna. I have a mate, just..," before I finish I'm pulled hard up against the wall.

'Well he's harsh,' Minsi says.

When I open my eyes, I find myself staring straight into a pair of crimson eyes. He was indeed a tall man. "Home...isn't this your home? Aren't you one of us? Don't you despise those shitty wolves and humans? Don't you love me anymore?," he says.

"Leave me alone!," I shout as I try to shove him but he wouldn't budge.

God certainly built the man like a brick wall, but he was also super agile. He moved at an inhumane speed, I mean, of course he can. He's a f**k**g hot vampire!.

"Arcane...because I love you, I will let you go back but I will come for you and when I come to take you home you better not refuse if you want those a**holes to live," he says.

He leans in and puts a silver necklace around my neck and kisses my cheek then lets go of me. He points at a door to our left and says, "Go through there," he says.

I walk to the door. I turn around and stare straight at the crimson eyes that could pierce right through my soul. As I open the door I'm swallowed by total darkness.
