chapter 46- we have to get rid of Reina

Eliza was more than pissed off , she Was hurt at the turn of events.

The physician was saying something to Ruth and Adam but she couldn't quite hear it , her hand curled into a tight ball. When the physician had left Ruth came and sat next to her.

She felt a hand on her shoulder. "Don't be angry Eliza , Leyla didn't know what she was saying." Adam said.

Eliza felt hot tears gathering in her eyes." Didn't know what she was saying? Didn't know what she was saying? Adam that is a lie: Leyla knew what she was saying. She was talking about reina fond and the king was supporting her, and she was belittling me." Her voice was beginning to break.

"Eliza your are of more importance than that Reina." Ruth said.

"How!" Eliza exclaimed angrily. "She just came yesterday and everyone is singing her praises, I have been coming here all my life and not once have I heard the king or Eliza and Alex say anything good about me. Aunt!" She place her hand over Ruth's. "We have to do something about her and soon, we can't let Reina win ; she's already taken their attention and they like all her , I fear that If we don't do something soon. She'll become the queen and reign over us all ; and when that happens we won't be able to stop her" She cried out.

Ruth stood up from the bed and began pacing about in the room. "We cannot do anything rash Eliza , I know how you feel and I feel the same way about the whole situation but you've heard what Lucius said. We shouldn't do anything for we should just ignore." Ruth answered.

Eliza was shocked and speechless, how should she just Sit there and watch Reina take the throne away from her." But aunt , what if she's not Sofia daughter? "She asked.

"Then we will get rid of her." Ruth smiled looking at her son with a knowing look." Just like the old ways." She concluded.

Eliza was a little bit relieved , but she wasn't going to let Reina win." Aunt I have an idea. "She said.

Ruth frowned." Tell me what excellent idea do you have." she said ironically.

She stoop up from the bed happily. "I know that Lucius said that we shouldn't do anything; but we can't just sit here and watch Reina get close to Alex."

"What are you suggesting Eliza ?" Adam asked.

"You know that prince Alex is home so hell be busy with royal duties as from tomorrow; I think that we should take advantage of the situation." She replied.

"How?" Ruth asked.

"By making her ill , if she is sick she won't be able to talk to Alex, and Alex would be too busy to come to her." Eliza replied.

Ruth smiled. "And that would give you the chance to get close to him without Reina in our way. Well done done Eliza your plan might actually work." Ruth said.

"I know it will, but first we must find a way to make her sick." Eliza replied.

Ruth eyes gleamed with vengeance. "Leave that to me; I am sure I have a poison that will do the trick." When she saw the look of worry in Adam and Eliza face , she added." Don't worry It not that deadly it will only make her weak and sick for a few days and won't kill her."

Eliza was over joyed. Reina thought that she could come to the palace and try to ruin her dream of becoming queen but she had no idea who she was dealing with.

A knock was heard and everybody In the room froze. The knock was heard again this time louder , could this person have heard their plan." W-who is it? "Ruth demanded.

"Its the Butler my lady." The mam behind the door said.

Ruth opened the door angrily."What do you want Walter ?" Ruth demanded angrily.

The middle aged man in the front of the door did not look one bit affected by her angry tone."I have called to inform you that the king would like for you all to be present at the garden for the afternoon tea as lady Reina and prince Alex have returned from their horseback ridding." The man replied.

"We will be there shortly Walter." She announced.

"Yes my lady." He bowed to her before leaving.

Eliza was already boiling with rage." Even her name makes me annoyed." She murmured under her breath.

"Enough Eliza , you will soon get your revenge but first things first." She turned to face her son." Adam you mist sit next to Reina and try to win her attention, Eliza you're sitting next to Alex while I'll sit next to Leyla. That princess need someone to help her correct her tongue and I will gladly volunteer to help." She smiled evilly.

Eliza was happy." But aunt are they not already seated by now , we cannot just enter into the garden and request them to switch places."

"I know that it won't be easy , that is why I have a plan." Ruth replied.

"What's the plan mother?" Adam asked.

"You will find out very soon but first I need you to get your pet ,we will be needing it." Ruth said.

Eliza looked at her bandaged arm with distain." Prince Alex stupid pet did this to my arm and have made my life difficult." She said.

"Don't worry Eliza your injured arm is a good thing. You won't be able to eat because of it and Alex will have no other choice than to feed you." Ruth told her.

"But if I sit on her chair what if she comes back and demand that I should get up? "Eliza demanded.

"She won't and stop worrying, I gave already thought it through ; I will play my part but the rest would be up to you." Ruth replied.

"What about the poison that would make her fall ill?" Adam asked.

"I'll leave it up to you Adam , you should give her the poison and make sure that she drinks it." Ruth replied.

"They must be waiting for us , mother." Adam said.

"Yes , we should be heading there now; come lets go." She said.

Eliza was ecstatic at the thought that she was going to be with Prince Alex and he would feed her; she was going to enjoy every bit of it and she would make sure that reina watches every single moment.
