We all fell silent, shocked when the door banged violently. My eyes and Elorona's met, seeking reassurance from each other in the confusion created by the sudden knock. Regina's face showed a look of fear for a moment when she heard the sound of banging on the door.
"Regina, any guests?" asked Elerona, trying to deal with the anxiety that arose in the room.
Regina, who was full of excitement about dinner together before, now looked pale and trembling when she heard the loud knock.
"Guest?" I said, turning to look at the door that kept banging.
"B-No, i-that..." The panic that struck interrupted Regina as she tried to explain.
Instantly, someone with a deep voice shouted from outside, calling Regina while hitting the door hard. The sound echoed in the small room, adding to the tension that was already felt in the air.
"Regina! Regina!" shouted the man outside.
Brak! Brak! Brak!
Regina looked at the door with an anxious expression. "This can't be true," she muttered, her voice trembling.
Elerona, although surprised by the tension that occurred, she stood up taking the initiative to open the door, but before she walked towards the door Regina spoke.
"Elerona! No need..." Regina's voice was heard trembling, reflecting her anxiety about the situation at hand.
Elerona looked at him with a thoughtful expression, trying to understand the situation carefully before taking the next step.
Regina, with an unconcealed anxious look, tried to keep Elerona from opening the door. It can be seen from her face that she is very worried, like there is something to avoid or hide from the arrival of people outside.
Elerona, although flinching at the state, looked at Regina intently. There was doubt radiating from his eyes, but also a desire to understand what really happened. With mixed feelings, she considered her next move carefully, realizing that the situation might be more complicated than it seemed.
Without hesitation, I stood up and headed to the door, Regina tried to hold me back, but Elerona held her back from afar, I could see Regina's child was terrified; she was cursing under the dining table.
Krieeek! I opened the door
"Hey! Regina-... Who are you?" The man, he had a short body but big muscles with a lot of hand hair.
She tried to look inside but I quickly closed her door, making a comfortable place for people inside the house
The man seemed surprised by my act of closing the door. His expression went from astonishment to a little anger, yet I still stood in front of him firmly.
"Who are you? What are you doing here?" I asked in a calm but firm voice.
The man growled, showing his displeasure. "It's none of your business. Who are you?"
His face was full of tension and had an anxious complexion. However, I didn't move from where I was, maintaining a position in front of the door.
"I'm Kratia, a friend who is visiting Regina," I replied steadily, trying to show that I wouldn't just let her in.
The man looked at me with a piercing gaze, trying to break through the firmness I upheld. "Regina has no friends so far," he said sharply.
Unconvinced by his argument, I raised an eyebrow. "Whatever your problem, this is Regina's house, and I am here at the invitation. So, what is your name, and what is the purpose of your arrival?" I challenged her, showing a firm but still polite attitude.
"It's none of your business! Let me in!" The man tried to push me with his hands, but his strength was too small for me to be immovable. He was shocked and couldn't help but look at my face.
"Give me an explanation of who you are," I urged in a firm voice.
"Tsk! Brat!" Without much further ado, the man swung his hand.
Swung!
The man kept swinging his arms in a rough motion, but I quickly avoided him. Every time he tried to hit, I managed to dodge nimbly. His hands shot through the air without causing any impact on my body. He was increasingly frustrated with his inability to break through my defenses.
"Arggh!" His face flashed obvious confusion and anger. He didn't seem to be used to my being there, and his tension grew palpable with each passing second.
The man kept swinging his arms trying to hit me, but I easily kept avoiding him. I was able to withstand his attacks without difficulty because it appeared that I could see every movement of his hand.
Slowly but surely, the confusion on his face grew more and more, and it seemed that he realized that it was impossible to beat me.
What is this... Am I becoming strong? Or is he really weak and slow?
My mind drifted fast as I continued to dodge blow after blow from the man. I tried to understand the source of the power that might be within me, but my mind was spinning fast in a state of chaos.
I kept dodging those attacks, and suddenly, at one point, my eyes caught a very open movement. With almost spontaneous reflexes, my hand moved and clasped his fist tightly.
"Keugh!?" The man was shocked when his hand grip was firmly held. His surprised expression hinted that he hadn't anticipated such a strong reaction from me.
For some reason, it feels like the world is moving slowly. Could it be because the screen in front of me changed to "Unidentified"?
While his hands clasped together in a firm grip, the man looked surprised and confused. He tried to break free, but my strength felt unusual. My body felt strong and empowered, as if new energy filled every fibre of my muscles.
"What are you doing? Let me go!" hissed the man, his face exuding deep fear.
I just shut up, staring at him with a glare. It felt like there was a new power awakening inside me, a power I had never felt before. Is it really me? Or is something happening to me?
Elerona and Regina, who had previously been silent behind the door, they came out and fell silent staring at the scene before them with a mixture of confusion and fear.
"Kratia, what happened!?" shouted Elerona.
The man heard Elerona's voice even though my hand was still pressing against his. He turned to look at Elerona and saw Regina who was sheltering behind Elerona's body.
"Regina! Hurry up and tell this man to stop!" the man shouted.
Regina looked very frightened by the man's scream, but I had no intention of letting go, even though Regina begged me. For me, this is the right thing.
"Don't ask for a ple, old man!" I said, holding my hands harder.
His hands trembled in my increasingly strong grip. My gaze looked directly into his eyes, reflecting an unwavering decision.
"Kueghh!"
"You can't just come in here and threaten us," I said in a firm, yet calm voice.
The man looks confused and in pain, trying to find a way out of the increasingly difficult situation for him. However, the grip of my hand made it difficult for me to move or speak freely.
Elerona and Regina, who were still standing behind, looked uneasy, looking for a solution to the chaos that was happening in front of them.
"Kratia, what are you doing? Let him go!" urged Elerona in a worried tone.
However, I remained unmoved, holding my hand grip with determination. Meanwhile, the man continues to try to find a way out of the increasingly complicated situation.
"E-Elerona, please tell your butler to stop..." Regina said whispering to Elerona from behind
Elerona, although she looked anxious, still tried to maintain her composure. He looked at Regina with a thoughtful look.
"Regina, I don't know what's going on. But I'm sure Kratia wouldn't have done this without a good reason," Elerona said in a calm but steady voice.
Regina nodded, trying to understand the situation that was happening. Despite this, panic was still felt in the air, making the atmosphere even more tense.
"So, what's your business, Old Man?" I asked the man firmly.
"Tsk! Regina, that bitch still owes me!" the man replied in an angry tone.
The atmosphere became more tense with the man's confession. Regina looked surprised at the confession, her expression reflecting deep panic and confusion.
"... I-" Regina wanted to speak, but was cut off.
"How much does Regina owe, let me pay it," Elerona said firmly, interrupting Regina's sentence. His voice was full of sincere determination to help.
The man looked surprised by Elerona's offer. His eyes flashed a mixed expression of astonishment and consideration. He stood in the doorway, seriously considering Elerona's offer. However, a look of disbelief still radiated from his face.
"Are you serious?" the man said suspiciously.
Elerona nodded steadily. "Yes, I'm serious. I will pay Regina's debt, provided you leave her in peace."
I, who was shocked to hear this, could only let go of the man's hand.
The man was silent for a moment, digesting the offer. Suddenly, his expression turned into an unbearable expression of annoyance. He sighed, then finally agreed to Elerona's terms, but the moment he saw Elerona he realized something.
"T-Wait, you're right... Princess Elerona."
His voice sounded hesitant and surprised at once. His expression reflected mixed feelings of awe and disbelief over what had just happened.
Elerona looked at the man steadily, but also full of empathy. "Yes, I am Princess Elerona. But at this moment, I want to help Regina and make sure that this matter is resolved properly."
The man looked speechless, his eyes dreaming into his own thoughts. Meanwhile, Regina and her son were still standing behind, watching the situation anxiously but also hopefully.
After a moment of thought, the man nodded slowly. "Well, I agree. I will leave Regina in peace, as you requested."
"Mention the amount, tomorrow morning you will see the money 2x double! And keep Regina away if you get to the snatch, no... even breathing near Regina, you will die!"
"Elerona, that's too much," I insisted, trying to defuse things.
Elerona looked at me seriously, but her face was still full of despair. "Kratia, I must protect Regina. He's suffered enough because of all this."
I nodded, understanding the reason behind it. "But that's not the right way to solve it. We must find solutions that are just and sustainable."
Elerona sighed, but remained steady. "Well, Kratia. I'll try to find a better way. But they should know the limit."
We both stared at the man, waiting for his response. The tense atmosphere was still felt in the air, but at least now we have the opportunity to solve this problem more wisely.
The man looked speechless, permeating the words we were saying. The expression on his face changed from confusion to calmer, although he still looked doubtful.
After a while, he nodded slowly. "Well, I'll wait for that payment. But I hope this really happens."
Elerona nodded, her expression showing relief. "Now, go!"
The man turned his head once again before leaving, his expression still full of doubts, but at least the situation had calmed down for now. We all breathed a sigh of relief, but were still in vigilance against possible future troubles.
"Mother... is that person coming back?" said Regina's son who was behind the door, still looking scared.
Elerona and Regina stared at each other, with Regina's teary eyes, she couldn't believe what happened.
"Elerona... You don't have to-"
"I need, you are my friend..."
While they were hesitant to help each other, I myself was still astonished by what was happening everything seemed very slow.
"Window..." I said suddenly
My remarks made them all startled.
"Window...?" asked Regina
"He sometimes speaks that, inexplicably..."
I looked back at the status of what I had.
