Chapter 181- Addie – Called Back Early (VOLUME 3)

**ADDIE'S POV**

I hadn't been home from the vacation for too long, when I was called to Callum's office. He had apparently gotten a message that had to do with me, and he wanted to share it with me right away.

"Addie!?" he called out to me like he hadn't just seen me the night before. He and Nolan, and several other people, always lit up when they saw me.

"Good morning, Callum." I smiled at him.

"Were you studying?" He asked, when he looked at my hands. I looked down as well, I wasn't carrying a book or papers, so at first I didn't know how he knew that. "You have ink stains on your fingers." He laughed. "Like you were tracing the runes that you had drawn in practice."

"Oh." I looked at my index finger and saw that he was right. "That was exactly what I was doing, but how did you know that?" At this, Nolan was the one to laugh from his position across from Callum.

"I told him that you often traced the lines to commit them to memory."
