Chapter 144- Addie – A Surprise from Renea and Arthur (VOLUME 2)

**ADDIE'S POV**

I followed my family, with Nolan, to the house that I grew up in. This place held so many memories for me that it was a little bittersweet seeing it now. I had so many good times here, but now I was living in the city, in the palace, and making my memories there. I wasn't sad about this, not really, but I was feeling a little reminiscent and slightly lost.

Trying to not let that get to me, I walked into the sitting room of my family home. Seeing that everything looked almost the same helped me a lot as well. It had been almost two years since I left, but things still looked mostly the same and that was comforting.

"Addie!" I heard my brother's voice as he called out to me. I spun toward the kitchen and saw him running toward me. "Oh my stars, Addie, you look so different!" He took my hands and pulled me away from Dad and Nolan. The moment that I was free of the other two, he hugged me tightly.
