Peace Finally?
Half a month passed since Maiden left and things have begun to settle down a little. Nexus has kept her promise and had human armies retreat from monster territories. We have to hunt rogue monsters for her from time to time, but with Maiden gone the forest was full of them. Ophelia's condition had improved as well, and although the metal in her body joined back with her arm, she'd taken off the weapons from them both.
While trying to confront her about the matter, Ray and Ophelia both shot me with a question of their own instead.
"You slept with Madelyn, didn't you?" Asked Ophelia first, her hand folded by her chest.
"What?" Trying to feign ignorance, I was quickly caught by Ray.
