SAVOR A SMELL

Savoring experiences means the overall experience while intentionally focusing your attention on appreciating positive events. It includes sensations, emotions, perceptions, thoughts, and behaviors that are linked to the particular environment in which you are immersed. It is namely, regulating the emotional impact of positive events by one's cognitive or behavioral responses, that increases happiness.

I didn't argue with John Paolo anymore because I knew I would never win arguing with him and I would just waste time so I decided to go to the kitchen first and find something I could cook for our dinner, I immediately opened the refrigerator and exposed in front of me the ½ kilogram of ground pork, cans of pineapple tidbits, sotanghon and sayote so I thought of cooking Pininyahang Pork Giniling and Ginisang Sayote with Sotanghon.

I took the ingredients out of the refrigerator and laid them on the long table in the kitchen. My mother used to be a cook in a small restaurant and when I was an elementary student she helped me cook, especially when she moved to work in an eatery, so even when I came in as a home maid or babysitter, I could cook.

I already started when I focused my attention on my cooking. First, I get the pan and hot over medium-high heat and then I throw in the onion and garlic and cook until the vegetables give off a nice aroma. I could already smell the delicious food and I was especially hungry while inhaling the aroma. The second thing I did was add the Knorr Pork Cube and mix this well until dissolved before adding the ground pork. Third, I cook the ground pork until slightly toasted then add the carrots, green peas, raisins, and pineapple tidbits. Sauté the meat and vegetables over high heat until they are cooked. With a sprinkle of Knorr Liquid Seasoning and black pepper, this dish is done!

When I finished cooking I was a little sweaty, I took a clean towel to my room and wiped my sweat then I went back to the kitchen I did not notice that John Paolo's attention was aroused by the delicious smell of what kind of foods I cooked.

"What did you cook? Our dinner tonight looks delicious." I heard the excitement in his voice but I ignored him but I was busy preparing the soup.

"Pininyahang Pork Giniling," I replied but I never looked at him again.

My attention is focused on the ingredients of my new dish Ginisang Sayote with Sotanghon.

Consists of the following ingredients in dishes such as 1 tbsp oil, 1 pc onion chopped, 1 pc garlic chopped, 100 grams chicken boiled and shredded, 1 pc sayote sliced ​​diagonally, 1 Knorr Chicken Cube, 2 cups water, and 50 grams sotanghon soaked in water.

I started to cook.

First, I get a medium-sized pot, make it nice and warm over high -medium heat, and then I add the oil and sauté the onions and garlic until soft and brown. Second, I add the shredded chicken, sayote slices, water, and Knorr Chicken Cubes and I let this boil until the chicken is cooked and the sayote is soft. I lower the heat and bring it to a simmer and add in the soaked sotanghon noodles, and simmer until cooked.

I was about to finish my cooking and unbeknownst to me, John Paolo came up behind me, I felt what he was going to do but I didn't immediately hear his footsteps until I felt something strange, like someone was smelling near the nape of my neck. When I looked behind me my eyes widened and I could barely speak, our faces were only three spans away and we almost kissed on the lips because John Paolo was so close to me and he could almost stick his nose in my nape, he was currently close his eyes while sniffing my skin, I was very red and I could not understand the rapid beating of my heart.

"Is it possible I'm the one he smells and not the food I'm cooking?" I felt a little silly and sexy at the same time, maybe this monster goat is also hiding a lust for me, he will simply approach me if he just smells my perfume.

After a while he opened his eyes and immediately my face flashed in front of him he quickly backed away and cried out in shock.

"Of course not, your scent is so bad, you smell like sweat. What I smell is the food you're cooking because I've been hungry for a while." He replied at the same time that the expression on his face changed again.

I was laughing and I couldn't help but hold on to my stomach.

"You're a liar, you haven't even admitted that you're obsessed with my scent. Haha," I told him as I continued to laugh at his denial.

"Whatever, make up a story and think of different illusions as long as you want. I don't care, what's important to me now is to eat because I've been hungry before and I'm sure Daddy and my little sister are hungry too," the rough and cold attitude of his rude manner boiled again so I stopped laughing and went back to the kitchen to get utensils to put the foods but not long ago I heard the voice of John Paolo again behind me.

"What scent of perfume do you use?" John Paolo asked.

And his voice was so low that I stopped spooning the food.

"Vanilla and Amber, Amber romance of Victoria's Secret, why? didn't you like the smell? Are you flirting with me?" I asked and I was a little nervous about what he would answer, I couldn't understand why I depended on his approval of what perfume I should use, or maybe I would be happier if he liked my scent. My flirtatious ego is once again struggling to fantasize about John Paolo's idea of love.

"No, I like it. I mean I love it. Warm amber meets creamy vanilla with sugary notes underneath including a delicious cherry note. I bit my lip and at the same time I couldn't help but shout at my position, it sounds crazy and I look stupid as always, I believe his sweet words to me again. I was so excited and thrilled with what I heard from John Paolo, I didn't think he would be attracted to my perfume and he even thought I would be a complete woman every time I used Victoria's perfume with Amber Romance scent. If only I could make John Paolo's property, I would be willing to submit and enslave him even if he harasses me every day and destroys my mood as long as he appreciates and takes care of my heart, I would rather love him.
