Igniting the Fire of Jealousy (1)

"Nice to meet you, Mike-sama." A girl's soft voice greeted Mike from behind.

Mike turned to check. Two girls were gracefully approaching. A girl in a black dress with long black hair flowing down her back walked over with a girl with short black hair following beside her. They were followed by Yukiko from behind.

"It's a surprise, you came to visit so early in the morning, Minako-sama." Mike felt a little strange, but he immediately tried to be natural and hospitable.

"Ufufu, pardon our sudden arrival. Ah, I feel you look younger than last night." Minako giggled while covering her mouth.

"Thank you for your compliment. If I may ask, is there any particular reason for your sudden arrival?" Mike smiled faintly.

"Hehe, have you forgotten what happened last night? What did you tell me, hmm? We just came to join in the fun because you smell like an interesting problem~" Minako put her hands together and smiled with her eyes closed.

The rhythmic answer made the corners of Mike's lips twitch. He didn't know much about this high-class girl, but it seemed that she did live up to the nickname of the troublesome princess.

"Okay, have you had breakfast, Minako-sama, and-" Mike looked at the girl next to Minako.

"She is my assistant, Amari Yura. You can call her Yura-chan or just Yura~" Minako opened her palm toward her assistant for the introduction. She then gave a wink. "Please don't mistake her name with your Yuna, kay?"

"Hum, well, would you like to join us for breakfast, Minako-sama, Yura-san?" Mike nodded in understanding.

"Thanks for the offer. But, where's Yuna-chan, hmm? Isn't she awake yet?" Minako looked left and right, but she couldn't find Yuna anywhere.

"Good morning, Minako-sama. Yuna-sama may be on her way here. If you wish, please join us for breakfast." Kisa placed two extra chairs for the uninvited guests and invited them to sit down.

"I'm honored." Minako did not refuse the offer. She went to the chair prepared by Kisa and sat there. Her assistant sat next to her.

Minako glanced at the single master's seat briefly, then she smiled mysteriously. She then patted the chair on her left. "Mike-sama, Mike-sama, please sit next to me. I would like to have a little chat with you."

"Well then." Mike did not feel there was anything wrong and complied with the request.

"Did you just have morning practice? Do you have any plans to do extra exercise to prepare yourself for that golden plaque challenge? This is just a friendly reminder--" Minako then opened a light conversation with Mike.

Mike certainly answered, but not in detail. He did have plans for hellish training today until the day of the challenge.

The light conversation ran into some trivial topics. A few moments later, Yuna walked into the dining room, relaxed and refreshed. By the time she noticed the two strangers there, she was stunned for a few seconds. "Eh?"

"Ah, the princess just woke up. Good morning, Yuna-chan~ I've come to visit." Minako waved her hand lightly with a charming smile.

"Mi-minako-sama? Why are you here?" Yuna walked closer to the dining table in astonishment. She didn't know what this girl might be planning in mind.

"Ah, you don't like my sudden arrival, Yuna-chan? Oh, sob, it turns out that you treat our friendship that way. Is it so shallow that I need a reason to visit you?" Minako pretended to sob by wiping her non-existent tears with a tissue.

"Ah, err... It's not like that. But, isn't this your first time visiting my house?" Yuna scratched her upper cheek in bewilderment.

"Oh, is it like that? Hum, no problem. I'll probably be visiting your house often. However, you were considerate enough to bring your boyfriend over to stay at your house, Yuna-chan. I thought you would let him sleep in the hotel." Minako just threw away the tissue and immediately changed the topic.

Yuna glanced at Mike, but she only got a clueless gaze from him. "My house is so big. It doesn't matter if Mike stays here as long as he wants."

"So that you can be with her as much as you want, like that? Hum, more than I expected. The dignified yet stunning Yuna that everyone knew would be so possessive to this extent." Minako nodded a little as if she had just uncovered a surprising new fact.

But, she just realized another conjecture. "Or maybe, Mike-sama has actually been here for a long time, but that's just you hiding it, Yuna-chan? Your secret lover, right? Ufufu, no wonder you don't glance at the other guys since you already have one at home."

"Wha- I-" Yuna became overwhelmed and didn't know what to say. She only glanced at Mike for help.

"I haven't even been in Tokyo for three days, Minako-sama. Please have some compassion because Yuna blushes so easily." Mike shook his head slowly to confirm the statement and avoid any misunderstanding.

"Ohoho~" Minako just opened her folding fan and covered her mouth with it.

"Oh right, where's Sir Alfred?" Mike realized that everyone was already in the dining room, except for one person.

"Grandpa Alfred is preparing something at the dojo. He asked to bring him some food there when we have finished breakfast." Kisa answered, then she pulled out the master chair for Yuna to sit down.

"Well..." Mike didn't say anything else. That old man was probably preparing a test or training method for him?

After that, they had breakfast together. As Yuna ate Mike's tuna salad, Asako smiled and asked. "Can you tell us what you think about that tuna salad, Yuna-sama?"

Yuna didn't understand why Asako asked with a sparkling expression. Even so, she just replied without a second thought because this might be a new recipe? "Hm, okay, pretty good."

"You know, Yuna-sama, this tuna salad was made by Mike-sama~ He turned out to be good at cooking when I tested him a while ago." Asako looked at Mike and threw a compliment with a sweet smile.

"Eh?" Yuna froze for a moment. She should have given a better sentence of praise!

"Hm? You're good at cooking too, Mike-sama? What a talent that young masters or young ladies rarely have in this day and age. I want to taste it. Please pardon me, the tuna salad is too far from us. Can you get one for Yura and me?" Minako became interested, but she couldn't reach the tuna salad with her hands.

"Sure, here." Mike just complied with that easy request.

"Ah, is this American cuisine?" Minako put her hands together to observe the tuna salad in front of her.

"No, it's just a homemade tuna salad with no background. But, maybe it's more of a Japanese cuisine." Mike answered and continued eating his food.

"Hum, this is delicious and light on the mouth. You must have put a lot of care into making this, Mike-sama." Minako gave a sentence of praise with a smile after the first bite.

"I'm glad you like it." Mike smiled.

After that, Minako started to talk about the culinary world. Mike just listened and responded when it was necessary.

For some reason, Yuna felt that something was wrong. She was not happy to see Minako near Mike. It was not just because they were sitting next to each other, but because they looked so good together! Mike should act like her boyfriend, right?

She glanced left and right. Since she sat on the master's seat, she sat alone on that side. The error was there.

"Mike, you sit here. Move your chair over here." Yuna pointed her palm to an empty spot next to her.
