There was one very small, very delightful window, where everything made sense and the world was great.

In that window, I was able to see a burst of Maxx. I had been doing my best to feel for him through the fog, but the second he shifted he shone to me like a beacon. And bless the Goddess above, it was just so good to see him again.

For, again. A very small, very delightful window.

And I was happy. And things were going swell.

Then Storm shifted also. That was totally fine because he also shone out to me. If there was going to be some sort of altercation, then maybe I would be able to help. Or, I could talk them down, or maybe—
