Chapter 19: Yo, Wolf! Stop That!
Maxx’s POV
Her eyes were the most pure color of blue, and her coat of fur was long and flowing. It was atypical of any wolf I had ever seen. Sure, the rules might have been different for wolf spirits opposed to wolf shifters. But in any case, she was nothing short of magnificent.
She carried herself with regality. This was not just some girl wolf. This was a proper lady. Which was to say, I had had no idea how much of a mongrel I was.
At least, that was how AJ’s wolf made me think.
I shook myself of my reverie and confusion. Something magnificent was going on here. I acknowledged that. But this was all far above my paygrade.
I just wanted to spend some time with my mate.
