Wenjay, a Chinese-American of mixed heritage, finds himself jobless and heartbroken. In a bid to stay in China, he enters a sham marriage with Mingyoo. Wenjay, previously a kindergarten teacher and now a writer of heartwarming yuri novels, has a knack for cooking, but he particularly loves the noodles Mingyoo makes. Mingyoo, however, is part of an organization investigating 'super brains'. When Wenjay stumbles upon a dark secret about Mingyoo's sister...
You wouldn't guess it from his tall, lean figure, but Hank was a foodie of the highest order. He'd bought five different stir-fry dishes, three snacks, two desserts, and had three large cups of ice cream in his insulated bag.
"You're eating like a king, huh?" Mingyoo said, stowing away his credit card. "Our school's cafeteria hasn't improved over the years, has it? It's turned you into this."
Hank was too busy devouring his food to reply, so he just gave Mingyoo a knowing look.
Mingyoo quickly snatched a piece of fish belly and put it in his own lunch box. Noticing that Wenjay was eating even slower than him, he grabbed a chicken leg for him to save for later. Hank looked at the chicken leg with regret, and Wenjay quickly handed it over to him, saying, "You should eat slowly and chew your food properly. Eating too fast isn't good for your stomach."
Hank looked a bit embarrassed, glanced at Mingyoo, and then accepted the chicken leg, saying, "Thanks, bro."
