12. Hyungtae's weak heart

A luxury car stopped right in front of the BV company. A handsome man came out of the car door on the right. He is wearing a gray suit that looked good on him. The man circled around the side of the car on the left, opening the door for a beautiful white girl. They are wearing matching office clothes like a couple.

"Please, princess," Hyungtae let Aera out of the car after opening the door for her. He also has a good manner. His hand is placed above Aera's head so as not to hit the roof of the car door. It's a sweet scene like a romantic drama in the morning. The employees outside the office are amazed at the attitude of their CEO.

Hyungtae is not bad, but he never once showed his caring side at the office, especially for women.

"Is that really our boss Mr. Kim that we know?" asked one female employee of her two friends, envious of seeing a pair of people who looked harmonious on the other side. "That's why it's surprising that our CEO has such aside. I'm jealous."

"Who is that girl? Is she Mr. Kim's fiancé? I'm curious about her face." said another employee starting to envy.

Hyungtae and Aera walked together to enter the automatic glass door. Even while walking Hyungtae kept looking at Aera's face. They joked with each other, this considered even more interesting because Mr. Kim, an indifferent and cold CEO, can look so warm when he is with a girl whom BV employees meet for the first time.

"Yes. Kim looks at the road. If you hit a pole later, I'll pretend I don't know you." Aera warned Hyungtae walking without looking ahead. Aera is well aware that the two of them are in the spotlight right now, but because she is too nervous. She doesn't want to bother and just acts indifferent, even Hyungtae doesn't stop her anyway.

"How can you pretend you don't know me?" said Hyungtae. His hand grabbed Aera's hand and put it on his arm. "If you've been in the spotlight too much." Hyungtae continued. Aera snorted, just watch out if she gets into trouble after this because the girls have made their respective groups whisper to each other and cast strange looks at her at each end of the corridor that Aera and Hyungtae are passing.

"Are you sure I have to accompany you to the office every day like this, Kim?" Aera asked to make sure. Now, they are in Hyungtae's room. There is even a special bench there for her, even though she doesn't have to do anything there. "Of course, do I have to answer the same question over and over again?" Hyungtae answered exasperatedly, because he had heard the same question over and over again since he made a pact with Aera.

"Then what about the deadline? You haven't given any certainty when I can stop." Aera sat in Hyungtae's chair, even though it was clear she had her own chair. Her eyes asked expectantly because she feel that her presence in the office is slightly disapproved of by the public. "I'll think about it later, don't worry. I won't leave you alone unless you ask." Hyungtae is well aware of the current state of the office. Of course, the girls who have been interested in him have started to show an obsession with him.

"That's right, then now accompany me to buy ice cream," asked Aera spoiled. Her eyes are round like puppy eyes. Her lips are pursed to form a mochi cake-like circle.

The tall man who sees Aera's aegyo can't hold back his excitement. He became salty and needed wall support.

"Say it one more time," said Hyungtae addicted.

"Oppaa.. accompany me to buy ice cream." Aera's aegyo is getting stronger. Now she even plays a tune during aegyo.

"Ahh, I'm going crazy nooow. Come over here." Hyungtae can't hold himself back anymore. He walked over to Aera's seat. He carried Aera's bridal style and then spun around three times and she was so excited.

"Kim put me down. Please put me down." Aera's feet stomped in the air, but her hands wrapped around Hyungtae's neck because she is afraid of falling.

Then a few moments later, Hyungtae put Aera down. But not just let her go. He handheld Aera's cheek to keep looking at her. "You're so good at seducing huh.... who teach you to ask cutely like that?" Hyungtae asked, his hands shaking Aera's cheeks slowly so the owner wouldn't be in pain.

"This is the natural soul of every woman. I can do it too," replied Aera, even though she was annoyed that she had been pinched by this handsome man in front of her. But she can still laugh when she says that. "Okay, you win. Let's go to the convenience store to buy ice cream," asked Hyungtae, his hands gripping the fingers of the girl who had played with his heart just now.

"You really have to hold hands like this, huh? Can't you see everyone is looking at me intently?" whispered Aera, bringing her body closer to Hyungtae's ear. "You have to! You don't have to pay attention to them. If it bothers you... Just look at me, not the others." Hyungtae replied casually, his hand gripping Aera's soft fingers tighter. "You bastard, you never think about other people. I haven't hit you yet." annoyed Aera. Her lips pouted and her eyes looked straight. She tried to ignore the people around them both.

"Welcome, happy shopping." a cashier greeted Hyungtae and Aera when they opened the door. Aera's eyes are busy wandering, looking for the ice cream cabinet. Her feet slowly stepped beside Hyungtae.

Even though it's clear that Hyungtae has definitely memorized the locations of the items in this mini market, but Aera forgot about it. Hyungtae's hand gently dragged Aera's hand, leading her to walk to the right. That's where Aera's favorite ice cream paradise is. Her eyes are eager to choose the flavor she wants to eat.

"This one, Kim."

"Ah, no. That one."

Aera is very busy pointing then she doesn't, then points again. It's funny howling like a baby bird.

"What you chose to take, here, put it in the basket," Hyungtae orders not to watch too long, Aera who is in a dilemma which one to choose. "Why bother so much, you are always wasting your money. But if you insist, I can't do anything." quipped Aera. Her face felt guilty but, it looked so fake. Hyungtae can't help but smile and shook his head briefly.

Then not long after, Hyungtae brought his basket containing lots of Aera's choice of ice cream to the cashier.

"It is enough for you? Don't want to take anymore?" said Hyungtae offering Aera who is in a blooming mood, her lips parted in a smile while looking at the ice cream being counted by the cashier.

"No-no, I'll gain weight if I eat more than this." bullshit, even though she told Hyungtae that her weight is not easy to gain.

"It's up to you. I won't insist." Hyungtae is made excited again by Aera's behavior. He doesn't expect the fierce girl he used to know can show this side of her.
