Jennifer heart-race

"I am sorry, you cannot meet her as she is no more. As a matter of fact, you cannot meet anyone from my family. I am an orphan" Cassie said without any expressions.

"No! I am so sorry, I didn't know about anything and just blurted it out. I hope you would not use this as an excuse to stop coming to my Cafe" Alex said with pleading eyes.

"Definitely not! Anyways you have promised me that you would make a special coffee only for me! At least before I leave this country, I would definitely come and collect my debt." Cassie said in a jovial way and waved her hands.

Alex smiled and waved back at her. He drove the car towards his home with a light mind. Once he parked his car and got down, he felt the suffocation which he was having earlier was completed dissipated.

Jennifer who was now green with envy hurried her steps, even more, when she noticed Jayden chase after her. When Jayden reached Jennifer, he pulled her into his embrace.

"Do I just smell jealousy over here? Melissa definitely had beautiful eyes, but.."

Hearing him praise some other lady once again in front of her, Jennifer pushed him away with force. With heavy footsteps, She started to walk away grudgingly.

Jayden just looked at her back and a small smile formed on the corner of his lips. His wife is always a beauty even when she is angry.

Once again, he chased after her and lifted her up in the air. He placed her on his shoulders, then walked towards his car.

"Let go of me, Jayden!! You cannot do this every time you meet me. How dare you! Put me down right now!!" Jennifer started to hit his back harder.

All Jayden felt was a soft cotton ball giving him a massage on his back. Once he placed her on the car seat, he bent down and pulled the seat belt to buckle it around her waist.

When his hand brushed against her body through the thin dress, she felt a shiver run down her spine. Unknowingly, she blushed and behind her ears turned little pinkish.

The peach fuzz hair located above the back of her neck just stood up straight as she felt goosebumps all over her body. She looked at his fingers which were now trying to put the strap properly in place.

"What do you think you are doing?? I have exams to finish in the next few days. You just cannot barge into my life and disturb me as you like. Let me go when I am asking you nicely. Looks like you forgot what I did to you last time" Jennifer said in a warning tone.

"I did not forget. But don't you think you might need a psychiatrist's help now as the episodes are coming back once again?" Jayden asked with a worried tone.

Jennifer became quiet and looked away. Jayden understood that she was still not ready to open her up, so he tried to change the topic.

"So about Melissa's eyes, they looked pretty…" He stopped and looked at her.

He noticed that there was still no change in her expression even after what he said! Jayden then turned her face towards him.

"Do you know how your attractive eyes try to imprison me whenever you look at me?" He smoothly stroked up and down near her eyes.

"Then look at these smooth cheeks which make me want to take a bite." his fingers kneaded her cheeks and even pinched it.

His fingers moved in an unhurried way towards her shiny lips, "Now how can I resist myself from kissing these rosy tempting lips"

He moved his face towards her but before his lips could even slightly touch hers, Jennifer woke up from that sweet dream. She pushed him away and unlocked the seat belt.

She opened the car door with power and climbed out. She ran without looking back into the college gate. Her head bumped on that iron gate and produced a loud noise.

But without even worrying about the reddish mark formed on her forehead, she ran until she reached their room in the dormitory. She saw Elina was still in a deep sleep.

Jennifer touched her thumping chest, she was unsure if it was because of her dash just now or due to Jayden's actions. Whatever it was, she decided to be extra careful around Jayden from now on.

Her parents were missing and she still needed to find the mystery around Jayden and Aiden. Now, Cassie was added to her list. With so much going on, she was now unconvinced if she could even graduate successfully.

It was still early, so she decided to make notes for the next exams. It might help Elina clear the papers without much effort. When she was almost done with the fourth chapter, the door to their room was slowly opened.

"Cassie, we need to talk. Not here! Somewhere quiet. Elina's still sleeping, so can we go out and discuss?" Jennifer said after she noticed Cassie who entered the room.

"I am not asleep, I am awake now," Elina said in a hushed voice.

"I have nothing to say or discuss with the both of you," Cassie muttered under her breath.

Cassie took a deep breath and said, "I am moving to the ground floor. I will be staying in Lia's room. She said one of her roommates moved out to stay with her boyfriend. So a bed is available right now. I won't disturb you both from now on. I would like you both to do the same."

"Look, if it is about me slapping you earlier, then I will apologize to you. But the way you spoke was also not veracious. So…"

Jennifer tried to make her understand, but before she could even finish Cassie lifted her hand and slapped her with full force.

"Now we are equal. From now on we go our separate ways. I won't interfere, at the same time I expect you to be decent enough to understand that I don't want to see you both ever again in my life. Am I making myself clear enough?"

Jennifer did not say or do anything, as she knows she was at fault. Instead of talking things through, she was the one who got physical first. All because of what she heard from Axe, which made her muddle-headed. She reacted in a very wrong way towards Cassie.

She must have talked through things before making her own assumptions. From day one she met her, she always considered her as a friend. She never showed any difference between Elina or Cassie. But now what had happened to her?

Elina went under the blanket and hid completely except for her eyes. Cassie packed her belongings in a hurry.

"Can you not think through this matter once more?" Jennifer still did not want to accept defeat.

Cassie turned and smashed the gift which they gave her when they started to live in this room together. The crystal doll which almost looked like Cassie hit the floor and smashed into tiny pieces.

"Can you not understand what I was saying until now? Or are you just pretending to listen to me?"

Slowly one by one, whatever gift she received from Jennifer and Elina, she threw them on the floor. A silver pendant with gold plated chain, a coffee mug with all of their pictures on it, a teddy bear, custom made digital photo frame, many more items shattered on the floor.

Cassie picked up her bag and walked towards the door while stamping the teddy bear on her feet. when she reached the door, she turned back and said,

"Heed my warning! If I really see you both next time trying to talk to me or even come near me, I would just take a knife and slit your throats."

She made a cut sign near her neck using her right hand. She walked out without looking back even once. Elina, who was watching everything in horror using a small hole she created on the blanket, came out of it.

"Is she really going to kill us?"

"Yes, she will. So you better stay far away from her from now on. Do you understand?" Jennifer said.

Elina just nodded her head and no other words came out. Jennifer wondered what had happened to them recently. Everything started to go wrong with them from the time they met Jayden.
