After two long years
"Boss, have you really decided to go back now?" Nyx asked.
"Yes, N! We are going back," Jennifer replied.
"But we still did not find the mastermind behind..."
Before Nyx could finish her sentence, Jennifer stared at her; that made her stop talking altogether. In these two years after she followed her current boss Jennifer, she came to know many things about the outside world. When she was hired by Aiden, she was hardly ten years old. Her only goal was to get trained and achieve skills to be the best among them all.
Jennifer had taught her that just blind training would earn her nothing. She needs more foresighted goals instead of just running behind something meaningless. She made her focus on expecting the situation to become worse and even sometimes how she had to retreat when it was a no-win situation.
