"Why did Irfan even cared to join the school?" Ester asked Taaliyah.
"How the heck would I know. Was he not in the South Town? Why did he come back West Village?" Taaliyah answered back.

It was monsoon. It was raining cats and dog. Taaliyah was not a fan of rain. She hated getting wet. She hated getting dirty. But every time it rained and she had to walk home, she would drench in water splashed from all sizes and shaped of vehicles and trucks. She would feel disgusted, run home, and shower. But rain in the morning on the way to college she could not hlep but keep her mind calm. She always carried umbrella but pray so hard to get drenched.
