The Devil's Bidding.

Luke was the kind of guy who could make you do anything. He was already dialing Victor's number and handed me the phone.

"I dare you" he smirked, almost evil.

Now, I had to do it. I don't know why I felt like I had to prove myself to Luke. To impress him, you had to stand out, be courageous, do something people don't usually do.

"Tell him you did not pay attention during the presentation, ask him to take a personal session for you."

Luke wasn't daring me to do it anymore, he was merely suggesting it. But I took it up as a challenge. He had convinced me to do the impossible. Sofia Malitz was not a scared little girl anymore.

All I remember after that was shouting over the phone and convincing Victor that I understood nothing. Also, the occasional chugging of alcohol. Victor was convinced easily.

"Perfect" I say and cut the call.

"Last night is a blur" I tell Victor sheepishly.

"I'd love it if you took the session all over again but I wouldn't want to waste your time. I paid complete attention during your presentation and I remember every word of it" I speak quickly to avoid any sort of misunderstanding.

"Alright then, as you wish" he says as he stands up. I stand up with him instantly. I stare at his ripped body; it was too good to be true. He extends his hands to shake hands with me, I turn red. The Victor Gibson, was shaking hands with me! It was a big deal.

I shook hands with him nervously.

I felt a sudden loss of breath, I felt weak. I felt like I was being sucked into a place with no oxygen. I saw images, blur at the beginning, vivid as time goes by.

I see Victor talking to a girl. 'She's pretty,' I think to myself. I get closer to them, I felt light, like I was floating around them. He doesn't seem to be talking anymore, he seems like he's shouting at her. All of a sudden, he raises his hand and slap! His hand was across her face. The girl falls to the ground and darkness spread across the room. The room suddenly got cold. I felt like I was freezing. I didn't think I could survive this.

I see light across the room, getting brighter as I float closer to it. I enter a room that smells like daisies. I see Victor again. Hugging a lady who seemed quite old. It could have been his mother.

'What was happening here?'

I felt a sudden jerk as I broke off contact with Victor. It seemed like we had ended our handshake after ages. I look at him in horror.

"What did you do?" I whisper, barely hearing what I speak.

"What do you mean?" he asks as he looks at me like I had said something offensive.

'He didn't feel that?'

I intended on keeping him in the dark as I grab my notes and walk out.

"No..Nothing, thank you for your time" I say as I walk out of the meeting room.

I rush to my seat when Hilda comes to me and asks me if I was okay.

"You look like you've seen a ghost" she says, looking concerned.

I had wished it was. This was far worse than any ghost.

'Did I just have a sneak peak into the life of Victor Gibson? The guy I had a crush on.'

I couldn't un-see this and I knew I couldn't look at him in the same way again. Things were about to change and not for good.
