Suddenly he felt a sharp blow to the right side of his face, right there and then Ryan thought he would die, his face was on fire from the stinging pain, he could literally feel his face swelling up, he didn't know what to do, nobody could help him not even his teachers that walked through the school hallways or his friends that laughed with him, everywhere was silent but why not, just one word from Mighty Joe's father and the school will close down everyone was scared of offending Mighty Joe because his father was literally the Governor.
Oh my God, what have I gotten myself into ryan thought to himself, it had to be today ? today of all days ?? Ryan stopped some kilometers before looking back, today was his mom's birthday and he really wanted to surprise her, he didn't want to allow that scuffle to waste his time, he worked three jobs after school just so he can buy a gift for his single mom even on weekends and he's been saving all his earnings to celebrate her birthday today so to hell with the Governor's son.
