An Impossible Fight

The bigger figure swung his fist out, trying to hit Shiro with its massive bicep. However, Shiro dodged it expertly and jumped to the side avoiding the smaller figure's next attempt. Lance took the opportunity to step in front of him and thrust his sword forward.

They fell back with each swing, creating large ripples as their bodies hit the ground. Their weapons fell off the ground and landed with a dull clatter in front of them.

After they all fell quiet, Shiro looked up at Lance with admiration shining in his eyes.

[+100 experience]

"Wow! You were totally badass!" He exclaimed.

"Suri, were coming for you!" Lance shouted.

A small explosion from behind them caused Lance and Shiro to turn towards the noise. Lance frowned as he watched the four men stand once again.

"What the hell is this?" Shiro questioned.

"It looks like they're getting ready to attack again," Lance replied.

[We must finish them off. They may still be a threat]

"Understood!" Lance shouted.

[Their numbers are high enough between the two of you. There is no way we can win unless we eliminate them immediately]

With that final sentence, they burst forth once more and fought back, blocking or dodging attacks from the remaining opponents. As time went on, it became apparent that Shiro' strength was beginning to fail as he grew increasingly weaker.

Soon he couldn't dodge anymore and was sent flying once more by a sharp blow from a huge hammer which struck his shoulder, causing him to lose balance. Lance rushed towards him, grabbed him by his shoulders, pulling him up, and placing him onto his feet.

Shiro glanced down at him before looking forward at the enemy, determination burning brightly in his eyes. Despite how weak he looked, Lance couldn't help but admire just how determined he was. It was admirable. But he hated seeing him hurt. Not just because it meant he was injured but because the pain he must have been feeling inside…

"Give it up now and come with me!" A man shouted.

He raised his blade high, preparing to slice through Shiro. As he was about to slash downwards, Shiro suddenly jumped up and placed his hand directly on top of the man's blade, stopping the knife from moving downward. He then lifted his leg, kicking him backwards and sending him sprawling across the ground.

"Shiro, be a good boy and stop this already...I made a deal." Aleena demanded.

"No!" Shiro shouted as he charged at Aleena, swinging his sword at her. She managed to jump out of the way and land on her feet beside the others, ready to counterattack should anything go wrong with Shiro.

Aleena smirked at him. Swinging her hand out she made a barrier with the other man inside with her . He grunted in response but stayed put despite the fact she couldn't see how he was reacting due to the barrier around them.

"Shiro…" Lance murmured. His gaze shifted between Aleena and Shiro. The tension was palpable, making his chest ache. He wanted to reach out and grab Shiro before the fight even got started, but there was no chance of doing that since he could barely keep himself standing.

"Why won't you believe me when I say you aren't like the rest of these idiots?!" Aleena demanded. "The only thing keeping him here is your my little pet!"

Shiro growled and charged at her once more, slashing his sword at her head beating into the shield.

"SHIRO, STOP IT NOW!!" Lance screamed.

Before Shiro could slash at Aleena again she pushed him forward, making him trip over his own feet and fall on the ground.

"Lance, we made a deal to come with me at once," Aleena replied.

Shiro was being electrocuted by his collar. The electricity was so strong that his body convulsed uncontrollably. He tried to scream in agony but the pain was too severe for him to speak. The electricity stopped as soon as the collar snapped shut, leaving the skin on Shiro's neck covered in angry red welts.

'This is bad… This is very very bad…' Lance thought to himself.

Without thinking Lance ran up to him and knelt down in front of him holding Shiro's chin gently so he could look at him in the eye.

"Hey Shiro….hey it's okay...it'll be alright..."

Shiro opened his mouth slightly, wanting to speak. Lance sighed in relief and smiled. If only he had the power to remove the collar…

He was forced to his feet by Aleena who angrily grabbed and dragged by him by his slave collar as the other men examined Shiro carefully. They pulled and twisted his arms, examining the wounds, until at last one man reached over and pressed some buttons on the device on the side, causing a bright blue light to surround Shiro, making him gasp and flinch.

When it dissipated Shiro stumbled to his feet, rubbing his wrists lightly to try and get the soreness to leave.

Then they began to approach Shiro. They stepped cautiously, watching Shiro carefully and waiting to strike. Lance stared at Shiro with concern etched into his features. What would they do if he attacked them? He wouldn't last long if he kept fighting like this.

"Fine...I give up Aleena..." Shiro huffed.

Aleena smirked proudly, clearly pleased that Shiro hadn't tried to escape once. She let go of his arm, which he quickly slipped out of, and walked towards Shiro confidently, her hands clasped together.

"Good boy," She cooed.

Shiro scowled and shoved her away roughly. She yelped and stumbled back. She glared daggers at him and turned around, glaring down at Lance.

"Get on your knees and put your hands behind your head," she ordered.

Lance looked at Shiro for a moment then back towards Aleena, confusion flashing across his features. Shiro simply nodded at him reassuringly while mouthing 'Go.'

Lance sighed heavily. He slowly dropped to his knees and placed his hands on his shoulders. He bowed his head and looked down towards the ground, staring blankly ahead. Aleena laughed quietly and patted him on the head, pushing him onto his stomach.

"Should I put a collar on you too you stupid boy?" She laughed.

Lance shivered.

"Ugh...no thank you." He muttered.

"Oh my," a voice said.

They turned around to see a young girl dressed all in white approaching them. She wore a long white dress with dark green trimming all around, covering most of her bare legs, waist, and arms. Her hair was done up and was tied neatly into two braids held together by colorful beads. She stood a few inches above them at 6'2.

"So cute~" she giggled.

Her eyes wandered up and down Lance's body. "Now I don' know what t'do with him but maybe this'll be fun!" She cried, laughing maniacally. "Oh yes I like him."

"Stop it..!!" Lance yelled.

Shiro groaned and turned away, not willing to watch any longer. He closed his eyes tightly.

"You will follow orders without argument," Aleena stated firmly.

Maren smiled and winked at Lance before walking past him to join Aleena in the centre of the clearing where the others stood.

Shiro watched as Maren left with Aleen as he was forced to trail behind both of them. He clenched his teeth in frustration, knowing that he had lost control over this situation.

"We will be getting touch soon, Lady Alleena!" The man assured.

"Yes and you need to hurry!" She chuckled.

"Alright!" the man exclaimed, throwing his hands into the air before disappearing with the others in another burst of smoke.

"Let us begin the next phase of our plans shall we?" She asked.
