Rescue and damages

[ 2 months later]

She was getting rescued. Help came but it came too late. She was already damaged. There was nothing left to her.

It was one of those days she lays spent in the corner of the dungeon after one of those cruel sessions. She refused to eat not caring about the health of the child she was carrying in her womb. So, naturally, she was weak. She won't give birth to an abomination. She wished for the child to die within her.

But suddenly the door opened and she stirred. One of the were came back. He hauled her to her feet dragging her forcefully away without any mercy. She just limped along. These days she didn't fight back. She had no will to.

Then she could hear it. Loud footsteps bloomed behind her. Because of the emptiness of the dungeon, the sound was amplified. But she didn't bother turning to see the owner of those footsteps.

Nothing ever happened down here that was to her benefit. She just let herself get dragged away as the footsteps neared her. Then the were picked up speed.

Suddenly the werewolf stopped and turned around pulling her closer to him and holding her tightly. She felt the coldness of the blade touch the skin of her throat before she knew what was happening.

Now she could see the people who gave chase to them. They were men. Two men in armour. One of them had a pistol pointed at the werewolf behind her.

And then she saw their badge. Brotherhood, she thought. She didn't recognise them. Her eyes remained listless as ever. Not bothering about the scene playing before her, she withdrew into herself.

"I shall kill her" The were screamed "I shall kill her"

"Let her go. Then we won't have to kill you" One of the brothers said.

"Never! She is mine" The were hollered

"Let her go then we shall let you live" Another brother repeated

"Don't you see, bloodsucker? I have mated with her. She belongs to me." The blade dug a little into her skin and soon droplets of blood started to fall.

"If you release her-"

"There is nothing more valuable you can give me than her" The werewolf bloomed. His gamma side finding its way on his head.

"If you let her go, I won't shoot you." The brother reasoned.

"I will have her sliced open if you bloodhounds don't back off" The hold on the hilt of the knife tightened.

"Why would you kill her if she is so precious to you?"

"I will take her with me if that's the last thing I do"

Boom!

The gun went off and the sound of a knife hitting the floors could be heard. The pressure eased off her back. Yet she went down with the were. Her weight dragged due to the hold he had on her previously. All she could see was the ceiling of the dungeon.

"What have you done!" Robert hollered. He couldn't believe Tahan had pulled the trigger and risked the female's life. They had worked so hard to find the female. it won't do good to lose her now.

He ran over to the still female. 'Had she been killed after all' he thought to himself.

"I won't have pulled the trigger if I was not sure" Tahan said. He could see in his periphery that Tahan was putting his gun away.

And he could see that Tahan was right. As he turned the werewolf on its back, there was a perfect hole in the middle of his forehead. His empty eyes glazing at the invisible Galaxy above.

"Sweet lord..." Robert exhaled "What a shot"

Tahan knelt down beside him to look at the woman. So did Robert.

The female too was staring at the galaxy above. But she lived. There was a hint of blood at her throat and she was completely bare of any clothes with her hands bound behind her back. Raged scares marred her body; from her torso to her feet.

Robert pulled off his jacket and covered up the female as best as he could. 'Oh God, how much she suffered'. He felt really bad. If only he had found the female earlier...

"You're saved, you're rescued. Don't feel sad. There is nothing for you to worry now. We will see to it" He chanted though he wasn't sure if the female could hear her.

"We will take you to your home and reunite you with your family. They will be there for you" He continued to soothe the lifeless female. He hoped everything will be alright. That the female will still have a chance to experience the goodness of the world. He really did.

But when she finally spoke up her voice was nothing but a whisper "You should have killed me instead "
