Chapter 28 Faster

IT’S TOO LATE to avoid looking at him because he turned to me before consuming the contents of the glass again.

“Let’s go!” he said to me, then put down the glass of wine and pulled his leather jacket from the hanger rack.

Jeff, Zach, and Skye went one by one to follow Rexon outside.

I stood up and followed them out. But I would have taken a step back when he stopped walking.

He was now one step ahead of me since he turned around while his leather jacket was slung over his right shoulder.

“Faster!” he said impatiently.

I immediately stepped closer to him without saying a word.

For Pete’s sake, why did I gave him the power to control me? I couldn’t utter a word to say while we were inside the elevator. It’s not crowded because there were only five of us, but why were Rexon and I almost standing shoulder to shoulder? I could feel every time he releases a deep breath next to me.
