I was about to stand when Christoff held my hand to stop me then he looked at Marknell. "She won't leave my side."

"I dare her to sit down next to me," Marknell responded. "Why is there anything problem with that? This is just a game."

"I told you. Stay away from your ex." Christoff said angrily.

All eyes are on whoever is speaking. "And I said I cannot," Marknell answered boldly. He looked at me. "Are you not going to sit beside me? I thought you are not a coward?" no he dares me by using the word coward.

My ears tingled at what he said. I pulled Christoff's hand away and sat down next to him.

"Sir this is just a game… no hard feelings?" John could no longer bear the tension. He is already sweating.

Christoff stood up and pulled me upright. "You are hurting me, Christoff!" I shouted at him. Christoff let go of my arm and he apologizes. Marknell stood up as well and hold my other arm.
