These words rang in her ears. As in she couldn't believe her ears.

'What could be worse than that? I take my words back. Almighty you sure know how to play with me.' Yue rui cried.

"Sir!" after keeping her mouth shut for this whole time finally one word came from her mouth.

"What? you must be really thankful to me, right? Oh! Look at those tearful eyes of yours! You must be really happy" Zongguan said.

'Happy! My foot. You see these tears of happiness? These express how scared I am right now. You don't know sir, how screwed I am right now.' Her mind is literally running but her mouth is shut as mute.

"Sir I am really really sorry for my delay. Please accept my apologies but is it necessary to report to Mr. CEO? Can you reconsider it please?" Yue rui begged with her utmost heart.

"In that case you rather accept my apologies. It's the big boss's order. I can't disobey him." Zongguan finally understood that Yue rui is actually scared. But he can't do anything to help her.

Yue rui became sad. But she understood Zongguan's word. It's not easy to disobey CEO's order.

'Mai yuerui if you want to save your job you have to face the big boss...hamph(determined)...But what will I tell him? I can't just blurt out about my sleep in front of him? What should I do?' she again lost in her deep thoughts.

Suddenly an idea popped up.

"S...Sir you also know that I can't tell Mr CEO the real reason of me being late. Please will you help this once" Yue rui requested Zongguan with pitiful eyes like a lost puppy. Those eyes really melt his heart.

'I thought she was an introverted one. Who knew despite being introvert she still has some skill to convince others' Zongguan thought.

"Don't look at me with those eyes." he moved his face to elsewhere. But Yue rui still made that face.

To the corner of his eyes he again saw that lost puppy face and couldn't take it anymore."Okay okay, I'll help you. "He said.

"Thank you very much sir." Yue rui's face changed immediately.

'Thank goodness he agreed to help me. Please God now at least help me. Please don't make fun with me anymore.'Yue rui prayed.

When Yue rui came out of the room she again got petrified. All her colleagues and even seniors were gathered outside and when she got out everyone looked at her in one gaze that scared the hell out of her.

"Aa…aa…ah go..od morning everyone. I am the new intern. My name is Mai Yue Rui. Nice to meet you." She found this situation very awkward as everyone was staring at her and she didn't know the reason why.

"O… you are the new intern. Good morning" all said in one tone.

Seeing the crowd outside Zongguan came for the rescue.

"Hey why are you all standing here? Don't you have work? Don't scare her like this. If you don't have work, come and ask me. I'll give you work." Zongguan tried to shoo them away.

Hearing of more work everyone ran from the spot.

"Okay. Now the road's clear, very much perfect for our move. Follow me intern." Zongguan commanded and headed to the CEO's room.
