How dare she
Yuerui couldn't help but pick her bag and search for the USB where her report is kept. She intentionally went slowly to the projector to waste more time wishing that some people might get bore and leave. But unfortunately none of them left.
'It's okay Yuerui. You can do it you have done it before. Besides you made a good report. Keep faith in yourself.' She tried to encourage herself and tried to remember the time when she made a presentation in a business conference held in her university.
She went to the laptop connected her USB and took a deep breath, then started her presentation.
"H…hello" nervousness engulfed all over her throat. She was so nervous that she didn't know what to say. She took the glass of water and drank the whole water in one sip.
Xianwang narrowed his eyes. 'What the hell. She can't even do a simple presentation well?'
'Don't worry Yuerui. These are normal people. They are not gonna eat you alive. The worst thing that can happen is you will get fired. The bright side of getting fired is that you won't have to give treats to Su. Not to mention you can free yourself from this weirdo. Don't worry, you will get another job. Now relax and start your report.'Yuerui tried to calm herself down.
She took a deep breath and started her presentation.
" Hello, good morning everyone I am Mai Yue Rui from marketing department. I was given this project located in X to make the budget and profit estimation." Then she started her presentation.
In the presentation Yuerui gave records of previous projects in that area and compared the market price with it. She added other necessary details in brief. In short her presentation was very appealing to everyone including Xianwang.
'Damn... This girl sure does her work great. As expected of Mr. Lin.' Xianwang was very impressed with her presentation.
But one thing that irritate him was his younger sister. the whole meeting she was looking at Yuerui holding her chin in her hand which also made Yuerui a little uncomfortable. But Xingtian didn't mind that and kept looking at her. Even Xianwang poked her sometime. But she didn't have any response to them.
"That's all gentlemen. Thank you." Yuerui ended her report.
After her presentation of 30 minutes ended the people still remained quiet.
'What? Did my work didn't suited them? Oh God will I get fired?'Yuerui started to get nervous.
After a while the directors started to clap their hands and praised Yuerui for her hard work which sent Yuerui to the seventh sky of joy. Xingtian was clapping with her whole might to make the most loudest sound.
But suddenly they noticed that Xianwang isn't saying anything. He is sitting like a statue without any movement. They thought something was wrong. So they stopped clapping immediately.
After a while one of the directors gathered his courage and asked him, "Boss what you think about the project?"
With a poker face expression Xianwang slowly raised his right hand palm forward and tilted his palm as in saying its average.
All the smile in Yuerui's face flew from her face.
'Stupid CEO...Do you know how much work I have done for this report and you say it's average?' she cursed him but she forced herself to remain quiet and don't let her annoyance surface in her face.
Lin zongguan was impressed by Yuerui's work but Xianwang's comment disappointed him. He said," Since boss didn't like it much then Yuerui will make another repo..."
"It's okay. No need." Xianwang interrupted him because actually he liked her report but to maintain his terror in Yuerui he didn't praise her.
'Are you doing any favor to me? I don't need your favor. You stupid weirdo.'Yuerui found it very irritating.
'At first you criticise my work then you don't let me redo it and eventually you accept my work.Asshole. Stupid weirdo.'
Yuerui was so irritated that while she was cursing Xianwang she actually murmured the 'stupid weirdo' word. Even if it was for a split second it didn't escape Xianwang's sharp eyes. He could also noticed a small hint of annoyance in Yuerui's eyes though she tried her very best to conceal it.
