Chapter 13: Upgrades

( Probs should have put this earlier, but quick little note is that this novel will always be free, I don't plan to lock any of this chapters, I just want to write a novel and have people enjoy that so locking chapters would take that away, Thank you for reading :D ( Might do gifts because thats completely optional and doesn't take away from reading experience ) )

22nd of August

Damian woke up by a bombardment of messages from the System. Each one has some confetti in the background, annoying him like hell.

He looked around and saw Isabella cooking in the kitchen, deciding to use the potential scouter on her.

'That's it? I thought there would be more to it than that. It will still be beneficial in the future, 'He thought, looking at her potential, seemingly lacking information. Damian got up from his seat and walked into Alice's bedroom. He was blown away by how pretty she looked after her transformation. He saw the gem from before levitating above her head, releasing little waves of green energy. 'System '

Damian decided to wake her up and told her to look at her status. She seemed even more surprised than him to look through her new stats and skills. Damian was thinking about her 

ability though. 'If I recall, she has a fire ability, so why was she now a healer instead of a magician, for example? Even more surprising is that she doesn't have a pervert trait '. He wouldn't complain, though, as he didn't mind having a healer. Damian noticed she was hugging him like a koala; Alice looked up and saw him staring at her, then stopped hugging him. "I got carried away, master I'm sorry ". 

Damian thought she looked charming during the hugging procedure. "I don't mind, but we have stuff to do, like eat breakfast that Isabella has made for us, go downstairs and show your new status to her and ask her how to turn back into a human because she somehow did it ". Alice reluctantly left the room and went into the kitchen, talking to Isabella about her transformation.

He decided to go through the shop and see what the demonic exchange was about. 'System, show me the shop please '. { You ask so much from me like a pet, haha } Damian just glared at the screen in response, { Fine }.

He clicked on clothing since it was his only option and was stunned by what seemed to be endless options to scout through. "Fucking hell, so many to look through, I'll have a proper look later ". 'System what is Demonic exchange '. 

{ Demonic exchange is the best feature you can get, in my professional opinion; it's the ability to turn a human you have killed into stat points for you to use on yourself or members of your house. This is the most basic version because it only allows humans to be material. Later, you can use Beast People, Dragons, Phoenixs, Elves, Vampires, and so on. }

Damian considered something and realized he could become very powerful very quickly. 'What if a house member kills a human? '

Damian grinned ear to ear, feeling slightly sorry for the humans dying later. Still, he convinced himself it was for the greater good, being his own good. He walked into the kitchen and saw both the girls kneeling on the ground. To say the least, he was bewildered, "What are you idiots doing ". Both the girls responded at the same time, "We forgot your birthday, master. We are deeply sorry ". Damian just started laughing. "I don't care about any birthday presents, gifts, or people remembering it ". Both of them sighed, then got up, and Alice went to sit down at the table while Isabella brought over the food.

Damian sat at the head of the table and started to eat along with everybody else. After Damian was finished, he said, "I'll be doing something later at night. Do you girls want to join me? "They both nodded, and then Alice asked, "What will we be doing? "He proceeded to tell them both about his new Skill and his plan to start hunting humans tonight. Alice and Isabella were both shocked by the fact that they had just agreed to kill humans. 

Damian saw this shock and stated, "You can think about it for the rest of the day and get back to me later. There will be no punishment for not doing this with me." He then got up and left to do his daily mission, which he had forgotten about yesterday and the day before. 

After completing the mission, he ate a protein bar outside a supermarket. He continued looking through the shop until he found something he was looking for.

The cloak was perfect for his plans later tonight, and the price was great for what it gave you, but he couldn't even afford one of them, let alone the 3 he wanted. He would ask Isabella for some money later, but he wanted to head back to his house as he hadn't been back for 2 days. 

On the ride to his house, he messaged Isabella asking for the money, not bothering to explain why.
