Chapter Ten: Let the game begin

It was finally break time and Aby went to meet Cassie and they both unpacked their lunch.

Hmm, Cassie I see you brought spaghetti and sauce with chicken wings, you even added your favorite juice to it. Abigail said pouting.

And you brought my all time favourite baked potatoes that your mom makes. Cassandra said and they started eating.

Meanwhile, Jenny was 5 chairs away thinking of how she would tell Cassie about Patricia's conspiracy...in the middle of her thought...Cassandra opened her drink and was about to take a sip.

Jenny from afar threw a book at the drink and in the split of a second SPLAATT. . .the drink spilled on her uniform, books and on the floor creating a mess.

Am so sorry. Jenny said aloud while trying to get a tissue to clean Cassie's shirt.

Abigail gave her a "what was that for" look and folded her arms.

Well...you...see. Jenny stuttered as she tried explaining herself.

Yesss see what?.Abigail asked angrily.

As I entered the class this morning I overheard Nancy telling Patricia that she would squeeze a few drops of kiwi juice into your drink and I know how much you are allergic to even a single drop of kiwi so that was why I threw that book to stop you from drinking it. Jenny explained.

Ok, thank you but Jenny I am allergic to kiwi so I am very sensitive to the smell and I can perceive it from even a distance meaning as I uncovered the drink I would have perceived the kiwi scent in it but I did not. Cassandra explained.

I am telling the truth Cassie, infact you can tell Aby to taste it. Jenny suggested.

Errrmm...why me? I am scared to even touch it, with those girls I expect anything and everything from them for all I know I might get a stomach upset or they even interchanged the drink for an expired one. Abigail said defensively.

Common Abigail, you are fearless and bold, please just taste it to confirm what am saying. Jenny pleaded.

Okay, okay. Aby said and picked up the bottle, looked at the remains and poured a little on the tiled floor to see if there will be a change in colour but there was none, so that gave her a little assurance, she perceived the drink again and it smelled good. She took a sip and there was no taste of kiwi, she took another sip but still no taste of kiwi then she shakes her head and looked at Jenny.

What is it?. Cassandra asked impatiently.

No kiwi Cassie, I did not taste any kiwi. Abigail said and smirked looking in Jenny's direction.

Having heard this Cassie's eyes reddened with anger while Jenny felt like crying. Out of anger Cassie snatched the drink from Abigail and took a mouthful and saw there was truly no kiwi in it. Cassie went close to Jenny and shouted drink it!!

Jenny in shock at Cassie's behavior started crying.

Drink it I said!!. Cassie shouted.

Jenny took it and drank a sip, she could not taste the kiwi, she looked in Patricia's direction and saw her smiling then it dawned on her that it was a trap set by TBT and she fell hard into it with no way to prove her innocence to Cassie and Aby.

In the middle of her thought.

Patricia and her entourage walked up to Jenny and forcefully gave her a high-five and said way to go girl, you are goood. You were able to pull it off, I must say I was a little bit doubtful the plan will work but it did baby girl. Patricia said and winked at Jenny.

What plan?. Jenny asked shocked.

Common Jenny, remember this morning you told us you wanted to get back at Cassie and Aby for leaving you behind at school yesterday. So the plan was to make a scene in the class, get her clothes soiled and ruin her books and we know how Cassandra loves her studies and how important they are to her, then you put the blame on us so she would not suspect you planned it but think you care about her and her allergies right?. Nancy explained.

And guess what girl, you pulled off a nice show. Patricia added from behind.

OMG!!! I did not do that, I did not say that, I did not plan that either, I did not even talk to anyone of you this morning. Jenny said defending herself with a sad look.

ENOUGH!!! Jenny please just stop the show, am not ready to listen to you anymore and I can see you made an almost perfect-plan in getting back at me and for your info I had a stomach upset and I had to take public transport because I couldn't wait for Mr. Hamed and I asked Miss. Jane about your whereabout and she told me she gave you some work to do, so I had to go with Aby. So, Miss. Jennifer George I did not leave you behind because I was angry and if you felt annoyed you should have come to meet me about it and lastly I never imagined you will be in cahoot with TBT to get back at me. Now listen carefully, I am disappointed in you and am offended not because of the ruining or soiling my clothes but because you planned with TBT to get back at me your bestfriend, oh sorry, I don't think you see me as your bestfriend cos if you did, you wouldn't have done this. So, Jennifer George you are nothing more than a classmate and "school" friend. Cassie said and walked out and Aby followed suit.

Jenny shocked and dumbfounded at the turn of events ran to the toilet.

Patricia high five-ed Mitchelle and Nancy and said, the first phase of the plan is successful remaining two phases and remember the strategy "Attack left, Attack right and score the goal!!!

Good girls, we still remember the plan. The next phase of the plan will be on Monday and hope we still remember the plan. Patricia asked.
