Adonis's POV
She was only gone for more than five hours, but I already miss her like crazy. I was on the pavilion watching the fields, and I can't stop thinking about Maya. And I realize I will go mad if I am going to lose her. I wanted to call her now and then, but I know it is ridiculous. I understand she was on the trip with her mom to say goodbye to her birth mother finally. I know it wasn't easy for her to do it, but I know deep in her heart she also wanted to say final words to her mother. But now that they are going to take and buried her mother's remains beside the grave on Don Ernesto, she can have all the time to visit her mom and talk with her.
"Are you ready now, Mr. Monleon?" Will asked me, and I nodded my head.
"Sure, do you think I can make it, Will, before our wedding day?" I asked him, and he looked at me with concern in his eyes.
