Crimson hair.

Blue eyes.

A face that resembles Rias, which is understandable given that he is her brother.

Sirzechs Lucifer, formerly known as Sirzechs Gremory, is sitting in the room waiting for someone.

It took about a minute for someone to enter the room and call his name.

As the Satan Lucifer, who was in charge of Domestic Affairs, it would be disrespectful to call his name, which could result in someone is death due to the hierarchy that he held.

However, there is one exception; after all, the one who calls him is his father and the former Satan Lucifer, Zeoticus Gremory.

His appearance is nearly identical to his own, but slightly older.

"Father. You have heard the news, right?"

Sitting across from each other, their expressions are serious.

"Yes, that is why I wanted to talk to you. It is not surprising that it has spread throughout the world. "I still do not believe it, but..."

"The Great Red has finally died. Yeah… Is Ophis responsible for the killing?"

"I am afraid she lacks the power to do that. However, if this is true, her group made a significant move that no one noticed... That is terrifying to think about, but it is only a thought, and we have no evidence to support it."

"However, now that the gatekeeper has died, many gates will open in the future. It may not be our problem because we can always stay here and not return to the human world, but the majority of the new devils are humans. They have their families, and we promise not to abandon them."

"There is "that" problem, right?"

"Yeah, we are not sure if the gate appearance will only occur in the human world. Because the dimension gap is so wide, it is possible that a gate will open in the underworld in the future."

"Hmm?"

During their conversation, Sirzechs received an unexpected telepathy from someone.

His father noticed this and simply gestured to respond to the telepathy.

"Big brother."

"Rias?"

Sirzechs was caught off guard when he heard his sister's voice.

However, referring to him as a big brother implies that it is a request from his sister rather than a member of the Gremory household.(1)

"Is there something wrong?"

"Would you please hear my request, big brother?"

Hearing his younger sister refer to him as big brother softened his serious expression and caused him to smile.

"So, what is it?"

"It is about the gate..."

Sirzech's face reverted to serious mode as he waited for her to proceed.

"… Can you assist me in granting us permission to enter the gate site? I wanted to talk to father about it, but I think it is best to ask you directly."

"You want to enter the gate? For what purpose?"

"I…"

Rias, on the other end of the telepathy, is having difficulty explaining why.

They need to enter the gate to prevent the empire's invasion of the modern world, but it is not a good idea to say so because they might ask more questions. 

Akeno is the one who instructs her not to say this. 

She is currently right beside her to ensure that she does not say it.

After all, Rias may appear mature and adult to others, but in reality, she is a good daughter and sister to her family who will not tell lies unless absolutely necessary. 

"No, brother. I just see it with my peers."

"I see. Then I will let someone handle the rest."

"Thank you for listening to my request despite your busy schedule." 

"Don't worry about it."

And then the telepathy ends.

"I think it is time to end our conversation. You are a very busy person now."

"I appreciate your visit, father."

Zeoticus waves his hand as he exits the room. 

The door shuts the room and falls silent.

"Grayfia."

"Yes."

Suddenly, a white-haired maid appeared beside him.

"Can you take care of my little sister's request?"

"I will carry out your order." 

She bowed and then vanished from the room.
