My Family Is Full of Broken Psychos! I'm One of Them

My family is full of A-Holes! Ridiculously powerful A-Holes who have views of the world so twisted that they could literally burn all of the known world to the ground. I am the strongest of them all, yet... I'm tired of it all. That’s why I left. Being stuck with those same people for years got really bland. I needed a breath of fresh air, away from the Narcissism, Hedonism, Sadism, Masochism, and general Gotham asylum vibes that each one of them exuded like some kind of messed up perfume. Six deranged family members hanging on your back all the time gets really annoying after a while. Especially when you are just as insane as they are. Unfortunately, after five long years of bliss, I am being pulled back in. Family Drama to the rescue. A threat that can't be punched away for very long has arrived at our doorstep and I'm forced to return to help solve it. Yippee... --- Free Chapters will also be available on Royal Road under the name Shade Arjuun. --- For those interested in discussing about this novel and several of my other works... DIRT Riders

"In humanity's first war, three great homes were lost to the sea. They were corrupted with Fint and darkness, and all of the natural organisms of this world's waters would not dare make them their home, save for one."

Ess raised a brow when he didn't hear anything else.

That was it?

"That's the extent of the hope we get?" Ess said petulantly, very much underwhelmed.

Those two sentences were all him and his family had to work with?

Where was the hope in that?

"It qualifies as a clue, a damn good one. That is more than what most get when presented with an Unlimited Forecast," the Speaker said with a snort.

Ess frowned.

At the very least, he was thankful that the clue wasn't a riddle, not that that helped much. As the seconds ticked by, he felt the hate everyone shared towards Speakers get more justified. Even when there was a clue to help him out, the damn Speaker in front of him delivered it in a way that just ground his gears.
