When Su Hongxing returned to the Ye's family old house, it was already half past four in the morning.
As soon as she walked into her bedroom, she could sense the tension in the room. She turned on the light and saw Ye Qilan sitting on the edge of the bed, and she remembered what Ye Xiandong had said to her.
"Where have you been?" Ye Qilan motioned Su Hongxing over.
Su Hongxing went over to sit by Ye Qilan, attentively studying his face.
His expression and gaze were very gentle, showing no signs of anger. She speculated if he had discovered her absence after returning to their room, and guided by this thought, he had stayed awake all night waiting for her. It must have been two hours.
By normal standards, anyone would be upset. Why wasn't Ye Qilan angry at all?
It seemed as if waiting up for her in the middle of the night for two hours was a matter of course for him.
