My Ex-Husband Desires Me

"Wh..wh.. what is this Maxwell?" She raised her head, her vision was blurred with unshed tears.   "Can't you read?" He asked, "I'm filing for a divorce, sign it and let's both go our separate ways." He handed her a pen.   "What did I do? I thought you said you loved me. Were you just fooling with me? Did you toy with my feelings?" She sobbed. The tears she had been holding flowed freely down her cheeks.   "Don't act like you don't know what you did. What? You thought I would never find out? You gold-digging whore!" He yelled.    Morgana grabbed the table cloth, every word that left his mouth was like an arrow piercing through her chest. "Why would you say that to me? You've known me for a year now, do I look like a gold digger to you?" She cleaned her tears, but the tears kept falling nonstop.   "That's because you are good at acting. Do you want me to tell you what you did since you can't seem to remember?"    "You are the reason I got drunk that night, You got me drunk just so you could sleep with me and after that, you leaked the information because you knew that my family would ask us to get married just to save our reputation."  ........... After their wedding anniversary, which ended up with a divorce, Morgana swore to herself that she would work hard and earn for herself and her unborn baby. But then, her supposed Ex-Husband wants her back and is trying his best to get back into her life.

Morgana was both is weakness and strength

Maxwell stared at his parents, his mother looked like she was already inclined to what was happening. "Maxwell, what did you do?" Laurence asked.

His mother helped him off the floor, she took him to sit in the living room with everyone. Maxwell told them everything that had been happening since Phoebe came back into their lives.

"So you believed Phoebe and treated your wife badly? Maxwell, haven't you learned your lesson? What happened when you acted without reasoning?" Clarissa said she didn't care about Phoebe's feelings. She hated Phoebe the day she chose money over her son.

"And why is Phoebe living here?" Clarissa looked at the girl with disgust.

"She doesn't have a place to stay, so I offered to let her stay here," Maxwell answered.

"What happened to hotels? What happened to renting her an apartment? Did you even think about Morgana before letting her stay here? Maxwell, I didn't raise you too stupid!" Clarissa yelled.
