THE BETRAYAL

*step* *step* *step* *step* "Open the doors, I want to meet him.. Now!", A huge devil appearing with one horn on his head draped in a black and red suit which most likely suited his taste with a muscular build said, "Yes my Liege!", the guards said and the gigantic doors welcomed the person, his walking admired his status, "Reiva! You idiotic scum where are you hiding?", the man shouted at the top of his lungs, *running* "What is actually wrong with you brother Valcan! calling me here out loud when you know that Father is busy inquiring the souls..", said a man same as the person but he wore a whitish red trench coat added with a sharp stick which he carried with him as he approached Valcan, "I don't care if father has anything to do with this but you! do you even know what time is it?", Valcan asked, "Well.. I think its past two, did we have something to attend to?", replied Reiva with a quite confused face, *sigh* "To think my brother would be this dumb, sweet hell! Father tasked us with hunting the infamous 'Desch Malamus', do you remember now my dear brother?", said Valcan who seemed quite pissed up with his dumbness, "Oh right! I apologize to Brother Valcan for my foolishness, I have the equipment's ready in my Workshop, so if you may?", said Reiva.

With the equipment in hand both Reiva and Valcan went to the renown lake of Balthar, where the infamous Desch Malamus resides, "Brother you sure we will be able to capture it here?", Reiva asked as he took out his long spear made from the finest metal ever made in hell, "Sshhh! Quite now, it will arrive right here just have some patience.'', Valcan said as he took a few steps back while maintaining his stance, "Any time now, Reiva get ready!", as soon as Valcan warned Reiva a sudden rumbling caught them off guard, "Here it comes!", Valcan said and suddenly before their eyes they witnessed one of the largest creature during their entire lifetime, "Well damn! how long will it take Reiva?", Valcan said as he slowly took a step back but the creature saw his movements and tried to him with his enormous tentacles blocking Valcan's, "Here it comes Valcan!", Reiva called out Valcan as he flunked a long spear towards Valcan's direction, "Here we go Mr. Tentacles.. Hahh!", Valcan threw the long spear at the creature which directly sliced off it's right Tentacle, the creature after getting injured badly returned to the ocean, "yes! we got it!", exclaimed Reiva, "Yeah we surely did", Valcan said as he patted Reiva's head.

With the giant tentacle in hand Valcan and Reiva walked to their Father's room, ** "To absolute glory we shall give to Hades..", both Reiva and Valcan said unitedly, "Hahahaha... I can't be more surprised than to see both my boys coming to my room at this hour", Hades said as got up from his throne only to hug his two precious pearls he ever cherished, "Father we have something for you, Reiva bring it in.", Valcan told his father as he signaled Reiva to bring the big surprise which both of them had obtained from the great 'Desch Malamus', "This is not an ordinary feat my boys, you have bought honor to my name yet again especially you Valcan", said Hades as he admired Valcan for his achievement, "As for you Reiva, you have gotten better but you have to learn a lot from your big brother so keep it up.. Hahahaha", said Hades as he went back to his throne telling his kids to go back to their rooms.

"Brother lets get some rest, I know that you will be venturing the Damien Forest in order to complete your quest right?", Reiva said as he looked at Valcan whose walking described his tiredness, being the Eldest in Aidoneus family, Valcan had much more things to conquer in order to prove his worthiness while his younger brother Reiva had the values of his mother Persephone, but was always described weaker than Valcan by their father, *sigh* "I really need to end this quest so that I can enjoy the rest of my time at home", Valcan sighed, "Well if you want I can come with you in secret to give you a helping hand, hmm.. what say?", Reiva asked, *grab* "Will you really come with me to the quest?", Valcan asked his brother, "Well yes if you allow me..", said Reiva.

With Valcan's permission the next day Reiva went with Valcan to help him complete his quest, *clack* *clack* *clack* "We have reached, Reiva you carry the equipment's and scout the surroundings for me", Valcan instructed Reiva as they walked through the forest until they reached to a dungeon covered with long creepers and spider webs, "Halt! Looks like we reached our destination, Valcan and Reiva, I trust you both with this quest so come back safe, I shall camp here for the night unless there is any trouble then I shall unsheathe my sword and come to your rescue until then Hail Diavel!", the quest guide said as put his trust on Valcan and Reiva as he went to the side and put out the tent, "So what's say brother?", said Reiva as he looked at Valcan, "Let's get in quick my chappy brother..", said Valcan as he grabbed Reiva by his arm and went inside the Dungeon only to be welcomed with horrifying corpses all laying around the dungeon, *gulp* "Brother Valcan, what did you say the name of the dungeon was?", Reiva asked in fear, "Don't fret brother, this corpses are not of our race but rather they resemble more of the Netherleans, as for the name this Dungeon was where our father got his first scar, ' Masmorra da Morte Aflitiva' which in other words is called The Dungeon Of the Grieving Death!", said Valcan who was unhinged by the terrifying atmosphere of the dungeon.

After walking a certain distance Valcan realized there is someone following them, "Whose there! Come out and show me your face!", Valcan shouted as backed Reiva knowing that whatever was there was not so familiar with their company. Suddenly a strange being appeared whose appearance was more terrifying than its voice but that was not all, Valcan was quick to notice that the being was not alone rather there were more, "Reiva do you know the path to the exit?", Valcan asked as he slowly backed off, "Exit? you mean the exit to you life?", Reiva said in a low voice, "What are you saying Reiva! this not a time for jo..." *pierce*, before Valcan could finish his sentence a long sword pierced through his chest, his surrounding getting dim every second, his vision all blurry and all he could hear was a menacing laugh throughout the dungeon, "Hehehe...hahahaha! finally... finally I got to kill you my dear no let me correct myself.. my self absorbent, dumb and idiotic brother... Hahahaaha! *inhale* this air is now purified with your sacrifice, now there are two choices in front of you, i.e, One; I either throw you at the hands of the undying corpus or Second; I will give you a quick death if you just tell me where that hidden room is, now what will be your answer brother?", Reiva asked as he grabbed the long sword and slowly pushed it inside Valcan's chest further, *Coughs blood* "You.. You were my only support and my only hope Reiva.. what did I ever do to you?" *coughs*, Valcan asked as he grunted, *sigh* "Again with your sympathetic lines filled with nothing but cliche, Brother I suffered because of you, you ever thought where was mom all this time, ever thought why father won't let us enter her room? bet your answer would be 'in her room as she is ill' No! she was not ill she.. Mother died because of Father's foolishness and now his main support was you Valcan! Now tell me where.. is.. the.. hidden.. room..", Reiva said furiously as pushed the sword further inside Valcan's chest, *grunt* "I swear on my mother that even if I die I won't tell you anything, and if I ever survive, I will come and find yo.. Cackh!", the long sword pierced deep inside Valcan's chest, all Valcan could hear was "Tch! You really are idiotic to the core brother" which his brother said as he kicked Valcan with all his strength, "Now you are no use to me and neither is this dungeon, Corpus! feast..", as soon as Reiva said the word the Corpus which stood there grabbed Valcan's body and with his underlings ripped Valcan apart limb by limb until the whole dungeon trembled, *slash* "This should be enough to fool that bastard, well then hope I never see you again brother.", Reiva said as he walked out of the dungeon acting all injured crying for help soon when the guide reached all he could see was the demolished dungeon and Reiva lying on the ground, "My liege! how are so injured and where is Valcan?", the guide asked as he tried to wake Reiva up, *cough* "Its over, Guide, Valcan is no more, we were ambushed Valcan lost his life while he protected me, please let's get out here", Reiva acted his way out of the trouble and just like this soon over the years Reiva was crowned as the prince and the most powerful devil of the Diavel kingdom.

Now what will happen to Valcan?
