Comfort Zone

Ezra knocked on the private suite door, he jumped up in excitement "Am coming" Terry said in his tiny voice, and he opens the door for him to enter.

Ezra entered the suite "Good day Mr. Terry" he bow politely.

"Don't call me that, my name is Terry, not Mr. Terry" he warned him lightly and close the door behind

Ezra open the wine and poured it into a glass cup, he hand it over to Terry "Here it is sir". Terry accepts the drink 'Thank you so much, Ezra".

Ezra bowed and was about to leave Terry stopped him " My friend you look sad and dull, if you have anything bothering you, you can share it with me, I can be your comfort zone " Terry said softly.

Ezra didn't know why but he feels comfortable talking to Terry even though he met him last week for the first time, he truly could be in his comfort zone and it would be good for him to make friends with rich to get benefits

"Come to sit down" he offered him a sit on the couch.

"Thank you, sir" he appreciated.

"Stop all these formalities, just call me Terry I feel comfortable with that, we are friends right " he sat beside him.

Ezra nodded slightly "Okay Terry" he obeyed.

"Yes that sounds cute" Terry smiled. He handed over the glass of wine to Ezra, "Step down with this first" he said. Ezra rejects the wine "I don't drink anything alcoholic" he rejected.

"You are such a gentleman Ezra, have you eaten?" he asked in a concerned tone.

"I have been so busy since so I didn't get the chance to eat during the break," he said.

"That's not good to fight any obstacle you need to tend to your stomach, let me order something" he smiled politely.

"I am afraid that won't be possible, I am a worker here, I might get sacked if I am here and not tending to customers" he refused politely.

"You know what, go change to your casual clothes, let's get out of here," he said, hoping he will cheer up if he give him a long ride.

"Sir, I will be punished severely if I do that," he said.

Terry understood him, he knew how scary Lisa could be and she won't tolerate such nonsense from the staff. He had the power as a Smith Family member to set and reset some rules yet he had never used such power before, but using it on the guy who saved him from committing suicide is not too much, Terry picked up his phone to call his sister "Hello Lisa"

"What did you want?" she said coldly.

"Nothing much, I just want one of the hotel workers to escort me somewhere," he said.

"They don't work for you, they work for the hotel, it's so rare seeing you ask for a favor" she replies coldly.

"He is an old friend of mine, I need to take him out with me today," he said strongly.

"I wonder when you will grow up, what his name?" she asked.

"His name is Ezra," he said excitedly.

"Okay, I will call the hotel, take him with you," she said and hung up.

"She is so sweet and evil at the same time " he smiled.

"Did you know Madam Lisa?" Ezra asked curiously,

"Yes, I know her but she isn't a close acquaintance of mine " he denied his sister. "You have been released for the day, go dress up I will be waiting for you," he said. "Time to ease up the stress Ezra" Terry smiled.

Ezra bowed out and left the suite to change his uniform.

His heart flustered "Oh my God! He is so cute and innocent" he giggled at his thoughts.

Sarah arrived at the company, Alfred stands in front of the building waiting for the chicken to be delivered, Sarah alight from the motorcycle she walked toward Alfred "Don't tell me I am here to deliver to you" she said.

"Do I know you?" Alfred asked.

Sarah realized she was wearing a helmet, she removed the helmet "Of course you do" she said.

Alfred received a call from Liam "I want it to be delivered to my office, tell the delivery lady to follow you" he said coldly thinking Heemani will deliver the chicken.

"Yes sir, she has arrived," Alfred said and hung up.

"I don't have the whole day to waste" Sarah complained.

"Yes sure we don't have all day, follow me," Alfred said.

Sarah was supposed to hand over the package to him at that point, but she was curious to see what the inside of the skyscraper building looks like, she followed Alfred with no objection. "Curiosity kills the cat, I am the cat," she thought but that doesn't stop her from following Alfred.

They arrive at the CEO floor, Sarah's eyes were blessed with beautiful views, "Here is the delivery lady and the chicken sir" Alfred bowed.

Liam gets excited thinking his troublemaker is around, he closes his laptop, and his jaw dropped as he sees Sarah "What is she doing here?" he asked aggressively.

"She also works at the restaurant sir" Alfred bows.

Liam was losing it "I want my crispy chicken " he shouts. Sarah moves forward to him "Here is your crispy chicken sir" she said politely.

"Out of my office, out" he shouted. Sarah eyed him "A crazy guy," she thought.

Alfred doesn't want to be left alone with his boss "Let me escort you out " Alfred offered. They both left the office. "I want that trouble maker" he murmured to himself.

"I am sorry for his rude behavior" Alfred apologize.

"Birds of the same feathers flock together" she scoffed, she hop on the motorcycle and left.

Alfred gazed and followed the motorcycle until she left his sight. He was losing his mind slowly, he doesn't know why his boss is behaving like a lunatic "You got this Alfred" he motivates himself and entered the building.

Sarah arrived at the restaurant, she went to the kitchen straight "What took you so long?" Heemani asked.

"The crazy boss ordered the chicken" she whispered.

"You don't mean it" Heemani gasped.

"I was shocked, he was expecting you to deliver not me," she said.

"Why will he wants me to deliver, to make my life a living hell, I can't even stand his presence," Heemani said.

"One plate of Crispy Chicken with French fries for table 10, five plates of spicy chicken on table 5 " Mr. Park announced.

"Yes sir," they said in unison. Sarah and Heemani continue working.

"Sir, you promise Old Master smith to pick Mr. Fredrick's daughter at their mansion today for the date you missed yesterday" Alfred reminds his boss.

"Which restaurant or hotel should I book?" he asked.

"I want the date to commence at the restaurant where that trouble maker works," he said.

"What?" Alfred asked in disbelief.

"You hear me loud and clear Alfred, I want to rent the restaurant for the whole day, I don't care how much it will cost me," he said determinedly.

"I will make arrangements sir" Alfred bows and left the office to make the arrangement.

Ezra changed into his casual clothes, he went to the Suite Terry was, the door was unlocked, and he entered after knocking.

"I am ready," he said.

Terry stands up from the bed "Time to ease up your pain" he smiled and held his hand, he noticed a mark on his hand "What happened to you?" He asked because the scar looked fresh.

"Oh it's nothing, it's injuries from the past," he said not knowing whether the scar was truly an injury or a birthmark.

"Let's explore", they left the hotel in Terry's Ferrari
