Chapter: 31

"Shit." Adrian cursed under his breath as the dark energy coalesced into a towering figure.
The entity that emerged from the ritual circle was a horrifying sight. It stood at least fifteen feet tall, with blue skin covered in shimmering scales. Large draconic wings extended from its back, casting ominous shadows over the clearing. Its eyes were voids of darkness, lacking pupils and glowing with a malevolent energy. The entity exuded a palpable aura of dread, a presence that seemed to twist reality around it.
Adrian's eyes narrowed as he took in the creature's form. "Joy, one of the Scarlet idiots' minions is here," Adrian said sarcastically.
"Master, orders?" Camile asked.
"Just handle any damages that were caused. I'll take care of this," Adrian replied.
"Understood, my lord," Camile acknowledged.
The entity noticed the group's presence and was about to speak but didn't get the chance to. In the blink of an eye, Adrian grabbed the face of the entity and they both vanished.
"Alright," Camile said, turning to the rest of the group. "Let's get to work."
"Right!"
**Somewhere in the vastness of space**
Adrian appeared, throwing the entity a few meters away from him. The entity, disoriented by the sudden movement, looked around then spoke.
"Who are you and where are we?!"
"Well, that is easy enough to answer. We are currently in a different universe. I can't have you rampaging in my home universe now, can I? As for who I am, that's certainly none of your business," Adrian replied, his tone cold and confident.
The entity's eyes narrowed as it processed the information. "You dare challenge the will of the Scarlet King?"
"I dare a lot of things," Adrian said, his grip tightening on the Crusifix, now in its scythe form. "Let's see how well you fare against me. It has been a while since I killed an eldritch being."
The entity roared, its wings unfurling as it prepared to attack. Dark energy crackled around it, warping the very fabric of space.
Adrian's eyes glowed with a fierce intensity. "Let's dance."
The entity lunged, reality warping around it as it swung its massive claws at Adrian. Adrian sidestepped with blinding speed, his scythe cutting through the air and meeting the entity's arm. Sparks flew as the blade met resistance, the entity's scales proving tougher than expected.
The entity snarled, unleashing a wave of chaotic energy that bent time and space around Adrian. Adrian responded with a slash of his scythe, slicing through the distortion and countering with a barrage of rapid strikes. Each swing of his weapon was precise, aimed at vital points on the creature's body.
The entity roared in frustration, summoning a storm of energy to engulf Adrian. Planets in the distance trembled and shifted as the entity manipulated them, hurling massive chunks of rock and debris at Adrian. Adrian deflected them with ease, his movements fluid and controlled.
"You're going to have to try harder than that," Adrian taunted, his eyes glinting with amusement.
The entity's eyes blazed with madness as it intensified its attacks. Space itself seemed to ripple as the entity warped reality around Adrian, attempting to trap him in a vortex of chaotic energy. Adrian responded with a calm smile, effortlessly evading each attempt.
"You're strong, but not strong enough," Adrian said, his voice steady.
The entity's fury reached its peak as it unleashed its most devastating attack. A sphere of concentrated madness and energy formed in its hands, growing larger and more unstable by the second. The entity hurled the sphere at Adrian, its grin widening in anticipation.
Adrian didn't flinch. He swung his scythe with a force that shattered the sphere, dispersing the energy harmlessly into the void. The entity stared in disbelief, its confidence wavering.
"Impossible…" it muttered.
Adrian's expression turned cold. "You've had your fun. Now it's my turn."
With a swift motion, Adrian closed the distance between them, his scythe slicing through the entity's defenses with ease. The entity tried to counter, but Adrian was relentless. Each strike was precise, aimed at weakening the creature's core.
The entity's desperation grew as it realized it was outmatched. "What… what are you?"
Adrian's eyes bore into the entity's soul. "I am one of the fifteen Great Gods. The Outer Lord of Everything."
The entity's expression twisted into one of absolute terror. "No… it can't be…"
Before it could react further, Adrian delivered the final blow. The scythe cut through the entity's chest, severing its life force. The creature's body disintegrated into a cloud of dark energy, dissipating into the void.
As the last remnants of the entity faded, Adrian turned to leave. Just as he was about to step through a portal back to his universe, a familiar female voice called out to him.
"It's been a while, hasn't it, Outer Lord?"
Adrian turned back, his expression softening slightly as he recognized the voice. "It has, hasn't it, Mary?"
