Chapter 07 : Introducing my boyfriend

(Kaoru and Hiroyuki sit at a table in the maid cafe, surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the busy establishment. Kaoru looks around nervously before leaning in to speak to Hiroyuki.)

KAORU:

(whispering)

"Hiroyuki, I want to introduce you to my colleagues. They're all really nice, I promise."

(Hiroyuki smiles reassuringly at Kaoru, her hand reaching out to give his a gentle squeeze.)

HIROYUKI:

(softly)

"Don't worry, Kaoru-chan. I'm looking forward to meeting them."

(Kaoru takes a deep breath to steady himself before standing up from the table, Hiroyuki following suit. They make their way over to where the other maids are gathered, Kaoru's heart pounding with anticipation.)

KAORU:

(cheerfully)

"Hey, everyone! I want you all to meet someone special. This is Hiroyuki, my boyfriend."

(The other maids turn to look at Kaoru and Hiroyuki, their eyes widening in surprise at the revelation.)

MAID 1:

(astonished)

"Wait, Kaoru, did you just say boyfriend?"

KAORU:

(nodding)

"Yeah, that's right. Hiroyuki and I are dating."

(The other maids exchange excited whispers, clearly intrigued by the unexpected news.)

MAID 2:

(excitedly)

"Wow, Kaoru, that's amazing! Hiroyuki, it's nice to meet you."

HIROYUKI:

(politely)

"Likewise. Thank you for welcoming me".

(As the other maids introduce themselves to Hiroyuki, Kaoru can't help but feel a sense of relief wash over him. He's grateful for their acceptance and support.)

KAORU:

(quietly)

"Hey, Hiroyuki, there's someone else I want you to meet."

HIROYUKI:

(curiously)

"Who is it?"

KAORU:

(grinning)

"My older brother, Ran. He is the owner of the cafe."

(He introces his older sister as his older brother because his sister is always disguised as a guy because of her height.)

(Hiroyuki looks intrigued as Kaoru leads her over to where Ran is working, a warm smile on his face.)

KAORU:

(to Ran)

"Hey, Ran! I want you to meet someone. This is Hiroyuki, my boyfriend."

(Ran looks up from his work, surprise flickering across his face at the introduction.)

RAN:

(astonished)

"Kaoru, did you just say boyfriend?"

KAORU:

(nodding)

"Yeah, that's right. Hiroyuki and I are dating."

(Hiroyuki offers a polite nod to Ran, her expression warm and friendly.)

HIROYUKI:

(softly)

"It's nice to meet you, Ran. Kaoru has told me a lot about you."

(Ran returns the gesture, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips.)

RAN:

"Likewise, Hiroyuki. Welcome to the cafe."

(After a long day at the maid cafe, Kaoru and Hiroyuki step outside into the cool evening air, ready to head home. Hiroyuki looks at Kaoru with a soft smile.)

HIROYUKI:

"Gosh, Kaoru-chan, you did great today. I'm really proud of you."

KAORU:

(blushing)

"Thanks, Hiroyuki. I couldn't have done it without you by my side."

(They begin to walk together down the quiet streets, their hands brushing against each other until they intertwine.)

HIROYUKI:

(quietly)

"Kaoru-chan, there's something I've been meaning to ask you."

KAORU:

(interested)

"What is it, Hiroyuki?"

HIROYUKI:

(nervously)

"Well, next Sunday, I was wondering if... if you'd like to go on a date with me?"

(Kaoru's heart skips a beat at the suggestion, his cheeks flushing with excitement.)

KAORU:

(overjoyed)

"Are you serious, Hiroyuki? Of course, I'd love to go on a date with you!"

HIROYUKI:

(relieved)

"Oh, I'm so glad you said yes! I've been wanting to ask you for a while now, but I was so nervous."

(They continue to walk hand in hand, their steps light and carefree as they revel in the warmth of each other's company.)

KAORU:

(softly)

"I can't wait for our date, Hiroyuki. It's going to be amazing."

HIROYUKI:

(sincerely)

"Yeah, I think so too. We'll have so much fun together."

As they reach Kaoru's house, they come to a stop outside the door, reluctant to part ways.)

KAORU:

(looking into Hiroyuki's eyes)

"Thank you for walking me home, Hiroyuki. I had a wonderful time tonight."

HIROYUKI:

(leaning in closer)

"Me too, Kaoru-chan. I'll see you tomorrow at school, okay?"

KAORU:

(nodding)

"Definitely. Goodnight, Hiroyuki."

HIROYUKI:

(gently)

"Goodnight, Kaoru-chan."

(With a final lingering glance, they reluctantly release each other's hands and say their goodbyes. As Kaoru watches Hiroyuki walk away, he can't help but feel a sense of anticipation for the date they have planned. With Hiroyuki by his side, he knows it will be an unforgettable experience.)

(Kaoru sits at the kitchen table, idly flipping through a magazine as he waits for his sister Ran to return home. The front door opens, and Ran enters, looking tired but content.)

RAN:

(wearily)

"Hey, Kaoru. How was your day?"

KAORU:

(smiling)

"It was good, Ran. Hiroyuki walked me home from work, and we made plans for a date next Sunday."

(Ran pauses in surprise, her eyebrows raising slightly at the mention of Hiroyuki.)

RAN:

(curiously)

"Hiroyuki, huh? So, is this the guy I met today?"

KAORU:

(nodding)

"Yeah, she's the one. But actually, there's something I need to tell you, Ran."

(Ran's curiosity piques as she takes a seat opposite Kaoru at the table.)

RAN:

(interested)

"What is it, Kaoru? You can tell me anything."

KAORU:

(choosing his words carefully)

"Well, you see, Hiroyuki isn't exactly a guy. She's actually a girl."

(Ran's eyes widen in surprise at the revelation.)

RAN:

(astonished)

"Wait, what? But you said she's your boyfriend."

KAORU:

(nodding)

"Yeah, I know it's confusing. Hiroyuki crossdresses as a boy outside of school, just like I do. She's been my closest friend for a while now, and we recently started dating."

(Ran takes a moment to process this new information, her expression thoughtful.)

RAN:

(slowly)

"So, you're saying that Hiroyuki is actually a girl, but she crossdresses as a boy?"

RAN:

(sincerely)

"Well, I'm glad you found someone who makes you happy, Kaoru.

KAORU:

(gratefully)

"Thanks, Ran. I'm really lucky to have you as my sister."

(They share a moment of quiet understanding)
