Dannie had gone to work and Hendrick had gone for a business meeting, Gael went shopping and grocery shopping the kids were at their grandfather's place for a play date as usual.
He turned the doorknob.
Entered the house.
He knew no one was at home because he had been monitoring their movements for the past week to know their activities he had one of the cleaners drugged and exchanged she could get a better idea as to how their week schedule was to play out and here he was inside his enemies house.
He didn't expect an alarm to go off, it had been turned off, he got a quick scan of the kitchen and sitting room area scattered a few things, broke some ceramics, went to the kitchen spilled the Nutella, ketchup, and milk on the floor blocked the sink with kitchen towels and opened the tap.
He stood for a while in the messy kitchen being satisfied with what he had done, he knew they wouldn't be back till about dinner time.
