<p>ZAVID'S POV<br/>I woke up feeling quite disoriented. I felt that I lost something important. I checked the time took my bath and did my business, I wore my suits. <br/><br/><br/>I noticed the house was quite quiet the kitchen was empty and everywhere was silent. I walked to the counter and saw a note on it,I opened it and saw it was a letter from Celestina.<br/><br/><br/>LETTER<br/>By the time you're reading this I would've already left I'll be back in two months from my class trip. <br/><br/>Your breakfast is in the microwave I just wanted to tell you before I go but all the talks lead to fight so this is the only way I could communicate with you I hope you'll be fine from Celestina.<br/><br/>After reading the letter I closed it and placed it back on the counter sat on the chair and started to think. I try to remember whether she ever tried to start conversation and such things happened.<br/><br/><br/>Then I recalled the day I had a hang over she did try to tell me about accused of once in money. And another time we talk in love with an argument and me hitting her. Our marriage was not that of love but solely based on business.<br/><br/><br/><br/>A contract marriage and after a year or so we will be divorced. mom said she's a nice girl and they should get snow here and try to make this marriage work. <br/><br/><br/>But when I investigated did the investigator tell my assistant the wrong information. I was broken out of my thoughts from my ringtone.<br/><br/><br/>I checked and saw it was my mom so I cut the call. I checked the microwave to see what she has cooked then heated it.<br/><br/><br/>I was never a fan of eating daily sometimes the whole day I will just drink cups and cups of coffee but it all changed after she walked into my life. <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>I guess maybe mom was right I think I should give this marriage a second chance after all one chance wouldn't hurt. I finished and place the dishes into the sink.<br/><br/><br/>CELESTINA'S POV <br/>" please place your seatbelts on the plane will be landing in the next 15 minutes."<br/>The pilot said. <br/><br/><br/><br/>I really can't believe it I just I would just go with the flow maybe this will help me forget everything that has happened so far.<br/><br/>~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<br/>" so you mean that you're married."<br/>I know that at Serafina as I pack my stuff. The hotel we will be lodging at was perfect and it takes out a mysterious person is sponsoring our stay here.<br/><br/><br/><br/>" what's wrong with that?"<br/>Clementina perched in.<br/><br/><br/>"She's young."<br/>"But there's nothing wrong in true love."<br/>When I heard Clementina make that states means I wanted to laugh what was true love my marriage was far from that I was a business contracts which was nothing else nothing more.<br/><br/><br/>"Guys"<br/>They both turned to look at me.<br/>"Are you gonna keep arguing about me after traveling to such a beautiful place."<br/>They both got what I was saying.<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>"Shopping."<br/>"Sightseeing."<br/>They both squealed and I laughed.<br/>I guess this will keep my mind from all that has been going wrong in my life.<br/><br/><br/>•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••<br/>"After we're done with this let's go get some food."<br/>Both Clementina and I laughed at what Serafina said. I can't believe it's already been two weeks since we came here. <br/><br/><br/><br/>Apart from assisting surgeries and watching them we've not really done anything and I know once one month is up we'll start the real deal.<br/><br/><br/>"Let's go check what's going on."<br/>Clementina dragged us to the seen where the crowd had gathered.<br/>I noticed a lady held a knife to a woman's neck about to perform I think an emergency surgery I guess tracheotomy.<br/><br/><br/><br/>"Stop."<br/>Then everyone turned to look at me.<br/>"She's just chocking so there's no need for such sophisticated treatment you could apply the normal emergency treatment."<br/><br/><br/><br/>The lady looked like she wanted to say something.<br/>"Who do you think you are?"<br/><br/>" I might not be a certified doctor but I know before a sharp object is used for surgery it has to be sterilized."<br/><br/>She looked embarrassed but still asked.<br/><br/>"If you know the right thing to do then please do the honors."<br/>I know she's waiting for me to get embarrassed but she's gonna be I for a shock.<br/><br/><br/><br/>I handed the shopping bags to the girls and got behind the chocking lady. I made sure she was seated at a right angle and placed my my hand on her pressure acupoint and started to apply pressure and within seconds she spat out the chocked food.<br/><br/><br/>"Ma'am are you alright."<br/>"Yes my dear I'm fine."<br/>I nodded and helped her up.<br/><br/><br/>"What's your name hun?"<br/>"I'm Celestina."<br/>She nodded and took out a check book.<br/>"No, there's no need to pay me but you can do it by going to the hospital for a check up."<br/><br/><br/>I didn't wait for her to answer and dragged the girls from the scene.<br/><br/><br/>~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<br/><br/><br/>"Mom."<br/>The lady turned to look at her daughter.<br/>"Look at that lady she looks like uncle."<br/>The woman turned to look and she was shocked.<br/>Celestina looked exactly like her sister's husband. She had a feeling they might be related.<br/>"Millie"<br/>"Yes mom."<br/>"Don't tell anyone what you saw here."<br/>"Why?"<br/>"Because I said so."<br/>She said giving her daughter a pointed look.<br/><br/><br/>~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<br/>I paused as I was walking.<br/>"What's wrong?"<br/>"Nothing."<br/>I shook my head at Clementina.<br/><br/><br/>I felt like I was being watched but almost immediately it disappeared or maybe I was mistaken.<br/><br/><br/>...<br/>"Where's the surgeon?" <br/>The lady asked me.<br/>I calmed her down and rushed to Dr.Lihan.<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>"Doctor please where's Dr.Devon?"<br/>"He won't be able to make it."<br/>I was shocked by the discovery.<br/><br/><br/><br/>"But if he doesn't make it in the next thirty minutes the child won't be able to make it his case is serious."<br/>Dr. Lihan looked at me deeply.<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>"You've been working along side most of the most experienced surgeons during this time and it's said that you're the best in your batch."<br/>I nodded not knowing what he was driving at.<br/><br/><br/><br/>"Then I guess you'll have to prove if you really are."<br/>"You'll take Devon's place as the main surgeon in this operation."<br/>The words kept ringing in my ears."<br/><br/><br/>"Doctor I can't I have never led in my life what if…."<br/>"Right now the life of the child is in your hand so it's your choice."<br/>Then he walked away.<br/>I couldn't spend all day dwelling on the answer.<br/><br/><br/>"What if he dies?"<br/>"I'll take the blame."<br/>With how resolute he looked I agreed to it and immediate went and got myself sterilized.<br/><br/>Hopefully this goes well or else my career is gonna go down the drain.<br/>I don't know but I have this strong feeling that I can't allow this child to die else I'll regret it knowing I could have saved him.<br/><br/></p>
