Being Spiteful

"Reiner!"

Zara was surprised to see Reiner standing there with his arms crossed and as always a face that showed no expression, but she was more surprised that Reiner had talked to Sarah like that.

Sarah was in complete shock that another male had just talked to her like that, trying to recover from it she said, "But Reiner what are you talking about? We're only joking that's all. It's a little bit of fun between us females."

"The only joke I see around here is you." Reiner replied.

Two of Sarah's males immediately came to surround them in Beastmen form of a Gorilla and Puma bearing their teeth at the unbothered Reiner.

"Surely you're the one that's joking, have you seen that girl? Have you seen me? I'm among the most beautiful if not the most beautiful female in this town! Not only that, I have already had a little of offspring this year so you can add fruitful to that list as well!" Sarah said with such anger.

"More like annoying, why don't you get lost? You're one of the reasons I hate females so much. Always demanding things, not interested in how the males of your clan are doing or feeling, you only care about yourself." Reiner said with such spite in his voice.

"Hmph! This is all your fault Zara! You're the reason Ayan doesn't like me and now Reiner too! That's not fair!" Sarah cried out loud.

And with that burst of anger Sarah left stomping her feet with her two Beastmen males following closely behind.

"Reiner, don't you think you went a little far with that female?" Ayan asked Reiner.

"Hmph, if you ask me I didn't go far enough with her. And you, you let that female belittle you but more importantly the female you're keen on protecting. In the future I suggest you keep a more watchful eye out for her, otherwise this big brother of yours will have to reprimand you." He said with a smirk on his face.

With that statement Ayan started to get flustered and upset with the eagle Beastman that claimed to be part of Zara's clan.

"Ehm, Reiner, what are you doing here? Surely you can't be here for-"

"Don't worry, I'm not here to collect today." Reiner cut Zara off. "I'm only here to help you collect firewood. That's why you two were coming out this way for right?"

"Nobody asked for your help! Tell him Zara! I'm perfectly fine collecting firewood on my own!" Ayan snapped at Reiner.

"Great now Ayans going to throw a tantrum, in many ways he is like a child isn't he?" She asked herself in a low voice.

"Anyway, I'm joining you." Reiner then grabbed the axe that Ayan was holding out of his hands.

"Hey that's mine!"

"Why don't you just use your claws? Aren't you a mutt? Put that Beastman form to good use." Reiner told Ayan.

Zara laughed while walking behind Ayan and Reiner bickering, "Its nice like this."

Sarah who had been standing down the road waiting for them to leave was fuming. "Alexander! Mason! I have a job for both of you. I am going to make that hideous wench pay for all the embarrassment I've suffered so far."
