Party

"Slimes," Vier stood on a grassy hill, overviewing an entire field of slimes. "Lots of them."

'Level 1 Green Slime: HP 50/50'

"Well yeah, we are in the level 1 area. We should climb up the tower to level 10, they've got harder mobs." Kreel sat next to him, covered in armor from head to toe.

"Yeah." Vier slid down the hill, catching himself on a rock.

"You should buy a weapon, like a dagger," Kreel opened up his inventory, revealing a large assortment of tools and weapons. "You can use this one." Kreel handed over a dagger over to Vier.

'Level 4 [Thieves' Dagger]: Strength: +16. Durability: 284/300. Rarity: Common.'

"This isn't that bad." Vier inspected the dagger.

'Enchantments: [Bane Of Goo]'

"It's even got an enchantment, it apparently does 50% extra to Slime type enemies." Kreel pointed to a large group of slimes, "C'mon, have a try."

Vier held the dagger in an awkward position, as if he had never used one before.

The group of slimes noticed Vier running towards their direction, spreading away.

"Take this!" Vier struck the ground with his dagger, completely missing any of the slimes. "Come back!" He pulls the dagger out of the grass and lunges onto another slime.

'72 Damage! Critical!'

The dagger had completely stabbed through the slime, now impaling both the slime and the ground.

'+29 Experience Points. 16,239/20,000. Level 16'

The menu displayed after he killed the slime. Vier got up and wiped his shirt.

"See? Not bad eh?" Kreel was impressed with himself.

"It's, not too shabby." Vier opened his inventory and placed the dagger inside.

"You're really naked." Kreel pointed to him.

"No, I'm wearing clothes, you're the one who looks like you're from the 1400s." Vier was wearing a plain white t and black jeans.

"Jesus christ Vier, you're not wearing any accessories or armors." Kreel flexed his full suit of iron armor. It made him durable but extremely slow.

"Huh." Vier opened up his inventory.

'Helmet: [NIL]

Chestplate: [White T] +4 Defence

Leggings: [Jeans] +3 Defence

Boots: [Sports Shoe] +4 Speed

Accessories: [NIL]'

"Oh." Vier was unsurprised

'Alert! Alert! Alert!' Vier's inventory screen disappeared, instead turning into a bright flashing red colour with a large yellow triangle and an exclamation mark in the middle. 'Level: Universal. Type: Specialised Dungeon!'

"It says there's a dungeon in Oase Hafen." Kreel put his hand on his chin.

"What's a specialised dungeon?" Vier tapped on Kreel's shoulders.

"Well, click the [Yes] button to see." Kreel pressed the [Yes] button and disappeared.

"Ugh." Vier pressed the [Yes] button too.

"Those below level 20 join this queue!" A man with bright spiky red hair wearing a fluffy coat was making the lower levels queue up.

"Yo, look at him. Isn't that Alev?" Kreel was stood next to Vier.

A display appeared infront of Kreel.

[Level 133 Venator. Rank: Tier 8. Title: Alev]

Infront of them was a massive tower that extended into the skies, piercing through the clouds and extending infinitely on. The tower was made of stone bricks and gravel, smaller towers were protruding out of the main big tower. Infront of the tower was a massive portal.

"It's a universal magic specialised tower," Kreel knew the appearance of the tower. "Those little towers that protrude have purple roofs."

"Aren't you usually dumb? How do you know this." Vier was shocked.

"HEY! YOU TWO! GET IN LINE!" A man shouted at them to get into the level 20 and below line.

There were hundreds of peoples gathered together in the middle of Oase Hafen, people from cities all around the continent. They were standing on a massive large stone plate with hieroglyphics engraved into the stone.

"You two, what level are you?" Alev walked up to the two of them. "Hey, I know you. Aren't you Vere's son?" Alev pointed to Vier. "Yeah, I remember you."

"You know my dad?" Vier clenched his fist.

"Who doesn't? Every tier 8 and up venators hate that guy, hopefully you don't follow his footsteps." Alev placed his hand on Vier's shoulder. He could feel the warmth in his hand.

"You-" Kreel was stun shocked. "YOU'RE THE ICE KING'S SON????" Kreel's eyes popped out of his head.

"Put those back in," Vier pushed his eyes back into him. "Not my proudest achievements, but it's one of them." Vier sighed.

"C'mon guys, quit talking and get in the line. The raid starts in 4 minutes." Alev pointed to the direction of the line.

"Move." A man with red hair tied in a man bun brushed shoulders against Vier, pushing him in order to make space.

"Hey man, watch where you're going." Vier clicked his tongue.

Vier and Kreel walked towards the level 20 and below line. There, there was a lot of venators dressed in outlandish armor and gear, swinging large but unconventional weapons. One of such person walked up to Vier and Kreel.

"You guys, wanna make an alliance? I'm a level 19 cleric, I'll be able to support you guys."

"Who are you?" Kreel asked the man, while Vier was busy checking the guy's cloak and armor.

"My names Bob." He outstretched his hand for a handshake.

"Where did you get this coat?" Vier had sparkles in his eyes.

"This coat? Bob turned around, Vier was practically eating the coat the way he held it so close to his face. "I bought it at the coat shop down the road. It's really expensive though, but it gives +4% in magic efficiency and +20% magic resistance." It was a plain black coat that extended down to his knees.

"Guys!" There was another voice that was approaching them, "Do you remember me? It's Ella!" Ella, along with Drache and Abe, came running towards Vier and Kreel.

"Ella!" Vier extended his arms for a hug. Instead, Ella came flying towards him, knocking him down as she tried to hug him. "El-" Vier muttered as half his face was eating the concrete floor.

"My bad!" Ella got up and cleaned her pants.

"Yo! It's you guys," Drache walked up to Kreel. "You know, I own a gym company, I'll give you a discount, in addition for 2 months extra," He was inspecting and poking parts of his body. "And lose the armor."

"I don't remember you." Abe saw Bob looking confused, not knowing what was happening.

"So? Should we make a party?" Ella was still ontop of Vier.

Ella opened up her party menu, "Accept my invite guys."

'Party Accept [Ella]?'

The 5 of them clicked [Yes].

"The raids starting soon, the level 100s and up are going in to clear the first few floors while the lower levels can clear the easy sub-towers. Besides, a specialised tower is going to make everyone on an equal playing field. You guys have nothing to worry about," Drache checked his menu. "372/500 People, the raid will start when there's 500."

Vier clutched his dagger in anticipation.
