My Chaotic Mob System

Sevarian Rafardi was a 17 year old kid who loved Mob simulators, games where he could play as any mob that he wanted. These games helped passed the time whenever he got out of school and would help put his mind at ease. "Level Up received!" The System Says. "Yes another level!" Sevarian Says with excitement. Levels in these mob games were essential for becoming stronger if you wanted to take down adventurer's. But everything changed when the world suddenly went to shit, something went wrong and caused the gates to trigger. Gates that would forever change how the world worked, causing people to think differently. {Hello Sevarian, We've dedicated a gift for you} °Chaotic Mob System Received° "What?" Wrong Path?

Nothing felt right since we fought those mobs, almost like we were going the wrong way. But could we even go the wrong way in this damn place?

Seems like I've gotten a good boost in everything, I'll have to check out my bonus to each stat later on. But I have a feeling that I won't be getting these kinds of points in the future.

"So that system, how does it work?" Kallista asks with curiosity in her voice.

"I'm honestly not too sure, other than the skills it gives me. Or powers from mobs." I respond while scratching my chin.

"Interesting. This system seems pretty powerful." Kallista says while intrigued.

To an extent she's right, but I'm not sure it's the strongest one out there. These systems all seem to be different in some way or another.

I'm not even sure how to combat a lot of them just yet, everything is still new to me in some way. A perfect example would be the mage user that I saw earlier on, and Astal.

Though he won't give up, I'm destined to see him again at some point soon. That's a matter of when though.

"I guess." I reply while standing back up.

"We should probably keep looking." Rika chimes in while looking around us.

"Definitely a good idea since we don't know what's out here." I say while gripping my sword.

These mobs could show up at any time and cause even more issues. I'm not really trying to fight a whole damn army again.

Traveling through these barren lands was starting to make us feel like nothing else was here but that was far from the truth. The boss had to be here since we can't leave the gate till we kill it, unless this was a trap?

I highly doubt that it could be since the gate was exactly as it should be and we followed the directions given to us. Well, me and Rika followed the directions.

"Nothing in sight still, even after all this traveling." Rika says with a pissed off tone.

This corrupted legion was a pain in the to locate but I'm sure we will run into them, this world only holds so many hiding places. At least that's what I'd think, but I don't know much about this world or if it's even truly a world.

It could all be an illusion that we're trapped in till we beat the gate boss, but if that was true, I'd expect things to be a bit different.

"What if we've been on the wrong path?" Kallista questions while stopping in her tracks.

"That wouldn't make sense though, how could we be on the wrong path if we don't even know where we're going in the first place?" Rika responds back with her own question.

A very valid point, kind of hard to argue with that logic. It'd be a lot different if we actually had a location to go or knew the path already, but we have no clue on any of that.

"We'll just have to wing it." I chime in while beginning to walk.

"Uh. Okay then." Rika says while following behind me.

Everyone was back on whatever this path was, it was time to keep going. We were bound to run into something eventually, whether it was now or later.

But as we got deeper into these lands, everything just began to slowly disappear for awhile until nothing was really around us. Just a wasteland, no debris, no trees, no buildings, nothing.

"Do you have any idea where we are going now? This place is empty." Rika questions with an annoyed tone.

"Nope, but we'll find out soon." I respond while continuing onward.

Everything around us was gone so how would we find out where the next place is? That's the best question we could've had since everything was barren.

That was until we finally stumbled upon some sort of cavern a few hours later. In the middle of this wasteland was a cavern, surrounded by debris.

You wouldn't have expected to find this place if it wasn't for the fact that it was the only thing within miles of this wasteland. I'm happy we found it though, maybe we'll find the boss here.

"Travelers, out here?" A Voice echoed as we entered the cavern.

Everyone was on guard almost immediately since this was the only other person we've met besides the boy from the village. But was this going to be an enemy, or a friend?

Slowly we could hear someone or something getting closer and closer, what was it?

Finally it came out from the shadows and it appeared to be another one of those watcher looking guys. I didn't expect to see them here within the gate at all.

"What brings you here?" They ask while stopping a few meters away from us.

"Here to kill the Corrupted Legion." I speak up.

"Ahh, so you're a system user. Interesting." They reply while looking down at the ground.

"You a watcher too?" I ask while staring at the being before us.

"I used to be a watcher, but then I was abandoned here in this gate world." They respond with a sad tone.

These watchers always made it difficult to tell if they were a guy or girl, and they never show their intentions right away. It's a huge pain in the ass to figure out.

"Why would they just abandon one of their own?" Rika asks with a curious tone.
