Chapter 62- New Apartment.

Raina's POV.

I was excited when I saw the reaction for design, the governor was so happy, he was calling everyone close to him, he was just elected and his office will be opened this evening.

"Thank you so much." I turned to the painters who nodded and smiled at me.

"Thank You, Miss." One said.

"We wouldn't do this without you." Another said.

"I don't think so though, it won't work without you guys." I argued.

"But you gave us an amazing design and we worked with it." The first one said and I smiled.

"You know what, let's take a picture." I told them and they looked at me in surprise, I took selfies with them and left thanking them once more.

I waited for the governor's office opening to start, I had to wait for the event.

The event started and I took more pictures of the event and with the governor.

I uploaded them immediately like Lyn advised, I posted some pictures on my Twitter too, I could already see Raina trend on Twitter, I smiled.

I needed to leave and unpack at my new apartment immediately, Tristan already helped me in packing everything, I smiled as I thought of how considerate he was.

I stopped at the entrance of Sequin area, it was boldly written Sequin City Apartments.

I showed my entrance card to the security man and he let me In, I was tired and drained, I really needed to rest, I needed all the peace and quiet right now.

I sighed as I remembered that I still had to unpack, I paused as my apartment came into view, I saw a car packed there and I saw Bas who smiled and waved at me.

I noticed Tristan coming out and picking more boxes that were outside.

"Hi, baby," Bas slurred, his hair was ruffled and his clothes were folded Slightly.

"This is really surprising." I said softly.

"Well, I came help my baby." He said and came closer hugging me , I sighed as I hugged him back, he felt so good, he was probably what I needed the most now.

"Thanks, this means a lot."I hugged him tighter and he ruffled my hair slightly.

"It's nothing dear." He said carrying me and I squealed, I blushed when I saw Tristan smile at us, I could hear Bas chuckle.

I smiled as I saw the room, it was already packed, lots of empty boxes were scattered.

Bas took me into the bedroom, he laid me down and I relaxed on the bed.

"You look so drained." He said and I just nodded.

"Guess you just said what the truth is." I sighed.

"I came here for lots of reasons, I didn't want to call because I wanted to see you." He said.

"So what are the reasons?" I asked.

"I came to help unpack, I ended up making Tristan joined, he'll be leaving to his family soon." He paused staring at me, I nodded and he smiled.

"I also came here because I missed you, I don't know this was how it'll be, I couldn't even concentrate at work." He said.

"I came here to invite you to visit my new home, we're having a little family gathering and I want you to come." He added.

"Wow, it's surprising that you want me to come, I'm actually terrified, but I'll be okay with you around." I replied.

"Thanks so much for trusting me." He said and hugged me again, I hugged him back.

"Now let me do the last thing on my mind." He said with a mischievous, I stared at him raising my eyebrows and he just laughed mischievously.

He took off my jumpsuit and brought out oils, he poured them on his hands and rubbed them all over my body.

"I came to give you a massage, you need it a lot." He said.

"You're so sweet, you're extremely sweet, I might die of diabetes soon, with your extreme sweetness." I said.

He kept massaging me with a smile,I moaned when he massaged my sour spots especially my arms and legs, he did that for about thirty minutes.

I smiled as I thought of how caring he was, he did lots of stuff for me, I didn't even have to ask and he couldn't read my mind, but we were in sync with eachother, he could easily understand me and I could too.

I sighed as he stopped massaging, I heard a little ruffle when he stood up from the bed, he came back and laid down too facing me, 

I played with his hair and he smiled in return, "thanks so much." I said and he nodded.

I felt so relaxed and happy after the message he gave me, I slept off with a smile on my face.

I woke up and realized I wasn't at my apartment any more, I looked up and watched Bas stare at me, he was smiling, he looked startled when he met my eyes.

"You're finally up, I didn't want to wake you, so I had to carry you to my Car, so we could leave for my home." He said.

"I'm sorry, I was really tired, I didn't even know I would sleep off." I said.

"It's okay, I slept too, though I don't sleep, but I seem to do that with you around." He said.

"And I like watching you sleep." He added and I blushed.

"Lyn said she put in a dress for you, for the dinner." Bas said stretching his hands.

"Oh she did, wow, I know it'll be gorgeous, she has great fashion sense." I beamed.

"Well, I think you look good in everything." He said with a shrug and I marveled at how he did that effortlessly, drop comments or compliments that will make me happy.

"Oh well, thank you." I said dramatically and he laughed.

"I need to leave so you would dress up, she said she left everything for you in the trunk, she's also dressing up, I need to go wear my clothes too." He said.

"Okay bye." I wanted at him and he waved back, he used his vampire speed and left the place immediately, I looked around and I could see the chill here, there was light but it wasn't too pronounced, the light from the moon was brighter than the artificial lights placed.

I swallowed nervously as I remembered that we were in Primera, which was the place the Edmondo's stayed, the only family who owned the whole place, no other house was built here, it was the only one.

They needed no one but them, so they kept a warning and also built a place with just them.

I clicked my tongue as I thought of the other vast space In Primera which wasn't built, and the were vast lands there and they all belonged to the Edmondo's.

I opened the car door hesitantly, I went down after a minute and opened the trunk, I could see clothes, it wasn't just one or two, it was about six clothes, I laughed as I saw the make-up kits she brought here.

I dialed her number and she picked it up immediately it rang.

"Hi, Raina darling I had to rush and get those outfits at the last minute when brother told me you'll come for dinner, so I had to bring a lot of it." She said excitingly.

"I don't even know what to choose, I'm literally confused." I told and I heard her sigh.

"You'll find something, just think of it, they are all nice." She said.

"I have to go." She added and ended the call.

I sighed as I twisted my mouth, I didn't even know which clothes to.take.

I looked at them and smiled, they were all in different colours, I had to think of the colour that worked best for me and would look really good.

I finally settled and the turquoise blue gown, I was a sucker for anything blue or green, and the turquoise colour was the mixture of both.

I went into the car and dressed up, the gown was really the best out of them all, it brought out my figure, making my tiny waist and large hips show, the slit at the knees was beautiful, it had a flower design at the handle, it also brought out the colour on my eyes, making it stand out.

I looked at my face and smiled, I loosened my hair from it's messy half ponytail.

I brought out the hair pins the dress came with and designed my hair, I had it packed into a messy chignon, the curls laid down my face and some formed little side fringes.

I applied my lips gloss and checked myself once more, I smiled at my reflection.

"Are you done baby?" I smiled as I heard Bas question.

"Yes I am." I replied turning to him, he paused for a while and looked at me for minutes.

"You're breathtaking." He said and I smiled, he looked so good in a tuxedo, he arranged his tie and I smiled when I realised it was turquoise, just like his inner shirt.

He stretched out his left hand and I took it, "let's go." He said.
