[Sofia's still fast asleep, she really must've not gotten any sleep huh. I'll talk to her once she wakes up, I should make a qi gathering array somewhere isolated, DarkGhost's forest would be the best place since nobody ever tries to go in that forest except those who are foolish.]

<DarkGhost's Forest/Dawn>

[It took a bit of time and its already dawn, I had to improvise because I didn't have any materials for the qi-gathering array so I had to improvise a bit.]

"I should go check on Sofia if she's already woken up." - Angel

{Angel flew back to the inn but it seemed a ruckus was in event.}

"What's all that noise from inside?" - Angel

{Angel went inside and saw 'Shadow Monster'. 'Shadow Monsters are a ghost like that looks closely to a wraith although its body and head is made of a shadow not bones and they also have no feet, they only float like ghosts. Angel also saw bodies lying around and Sofia behind 'Shadow Monster'.}

[This... why is a 'Shadow Monster' here? I didn't summon any of them yet? It must've been the one who did all this, and why is Sofia hiding behind it? Now that I think about it, 'Shadow Monsters' always protect my belongings whenever I leave them, so did it... protect Sofia from this thug like people?]

"Sofia, can you tell me what happened here?" - Angel

"I thought you abandoned me so I went down to get out but then those guys tried to capture me, but then this kind monster appeared and beat all of them." - Sofia Prena says while crying

"I see, 'Shadow Monster', you can go back now." - Angel

"Where is it going?" - Sofia Prena

"Back to the land of the dead, that's where he lives." - Angel

"L-land of the dead!?" - Sofia says in shock

"Now, if you don't listen carefully, you'll be following him and live with him, do you want that?" - Angel

"N-no!" - Sofia says while she hugs my foot

[Now then... to deal with these people, I'm sure they're not dead yet and I'm sure that they're likely to be criminals seeing that they just tried to kidnap an elf without any second thought. I guess I'll feed them to 'that'.]

"'Shadow Immortal', come before me!" - Angel

"My Lord." - Shadow Immortal(deep voice)

['Shadow Immortal', the highest and last stage of a 'Shadow Monster'. Any 'Shadow Immortal' are servants of the Night Monarch Yanluo. If he were to hear that a 'Shadow Immortal' called me his lord, Yanluo might throw a tantrum and shake the whole netherworld. 'Shadow Immortals' looks exactly like a 'Shadow Monster' except that 'Shadow Immortal's' heads are made of pure yin rather than shadows and their hands are bones with no feet.]

"Take these bodies and feed them to the Yinshade Serpent and don't tell anything to the Night Monarch, I don't have time to deal with him." - Angel

"Understood, I'll be leaving with this bodies." - Shadow Immortal

[Now that's settled, I can repair all the wrecked tables and chairs before the inn keeper wakes up with a bit of qi.]
