23: Powerful Allies! Reunion

Many experts from both factions whose cultivation stage was at Peak Core Formation Realm awakened upon sensing the profound Qi that spread wide and far in the entire Yunhai Kingdom.

Upon knowing that the profound Qi was originated from Eternal Nine Colored Pill which was concocted by none other than Master Peng Lao himself, those experts immediately left their seclusion to pay him a visit.

By the early morning, dozens of experts gathered around the mansion's outer wall. Tension raised from both sides. Demonic Faction and Righteous Faction have always been in a deep sheathed hatred due to the millennium old grudge.

However, they didn't dare to cause a havoc in front of the House of Phoenixes since the place was already well-known for being protected by Nine Claws Sect. In addition, the formation array that encircled the premises was enough to deter anyone who harbor ill intent toward the House of Phoenixes.

 In the end, they were hovering around the premises while waiting patiently for the Fourth Revolution Alchemist to finish his concoction.

Li Fei sensed their arrival and smirked. ''Oh, they really come as expected. No matter, let's see the limit of their patience."

For another next three days, Li Fei opted to concoct a thousand of Second Revolution Qi Consolidation Pills for Qi Gathering Realm Cultivators and he also concoct a few hundreds of Third Revolution Qi Condensing Pills for the Qi Fusion Realm Cultivators. These two types of pills were so precious for preparing themselves before breaking through to the higher cultivation stage.

Those Peak Core Formation Realm experts are Great Elders from various major sects in the Yu Kingdom. Aside from their desires to obtain Eternal Nine Colored Pill, their mouth began to salivates as the other products hovered in the sky.

An expert from the Righteous Faction, Bu Kuang, was in deep contemplation, brushing his long white beard. "If I can procure these Second and Third Revolution Pills, I can nurture my disciples and advance their cultivation by leaps and bound! Sect Master will be so happy and I might be promoted into a Grand Elder position in the next few decades."

A warlord from the Demonic Faction had a similar thought, but slightly more sinister than Bu Kuang's noble-ish thoughts. His name was Meng Han, a renowned womanizer and a Dual Cultivators who has hundreds of women as his Yin Qi Cauldrons.

"Hoho! My Yin Qi Cauldrons will be so delighted to receive these gifts. After they consume those pills, I can pluck their Yin Qi to my heart's content without worrying that I might incidentally kill them in the process."

Another expert who's donned in a black cloth also has the same thought as to procure the products for himself alone.

The Grand General of Black Sand Army, Kong Wen, hovering above the mansion. 

"By the decree from the Lord of the Black Sand City, I will buy all of these pills to elevates my army's battle prowess. If there's any of you who wants to procure the pills, you can fight me to death!"

Kong Wen overbearing Demonic Qi oozes out like a tidal wave, suppressing the other experts. He couldn't care less about the mortals in the surrounding area that might be affected by his Qi.

"Bah! Youngling, you think you can suppress us with your weak Demonic Qi?! I'll show you the real deal!" Meng Han Demonic Qi soared high and beyond, the once bright and lively morning sky became dark in an instant.

"Pardon my impertinence, senior Meng Han. But, my Lord's order is absolute!" Kong Wen unleashed his Demonic Qi to full extent.

As the tension became more and more unbearable, the profound Qi energy that was originated from the pills was stopped, indicating that the concoction process was finished.

Not so long after, a figure of young-looking man donned in a black cloak and white robe strode out of the mansion toward the courtyard in a leisure pace. The golden phoenixes embroidery on either side of his chests shone brilliantly as he was basked with the first ray of the day.

"Heavens. What a lovely morning do we have here? Gentlemen, may I ask why you starts fighting above my house?"

The dozens of experts were startled when they heard the familiar voice. Unmistakably, the young-looking man who stood on the courtyard was Master Peng Lao. 

They were hesitant at first upon sensing the sharpness of the Formation Array that protects the mansion's premises.

"Fret not. The formation array will only activated to the ones who harbor ill intention towards my person and the house. If you have a clear and sound heart, you should be just fine." Li Fei said in a calm and collected cadence.

With that had been said, they began to descend from the sky and landed before him with one knee planted on the ground.

'Good, it seems like they couldn't possibly perceive my true soul. Hmm, is it because my Spiritual Sense is higher than them?' Li Fei thought inwardly.

Bu Kuang greets Senior Peng Lao! Congratulations for your recovery, Senior Peng Lao." The white bearded man initiated the formal greetings in which followed by the others.

"Bu Kuang, It seems like you've been really busy, huh?"

"Not at all, Senior."

"It's been a while, Senior Peng Lao." Meng Han bowed, cupping his fists before his head.

"Oh, if it isn't Meng Han? To think that you are still alive for all these years is truly a miracle. How are your cauldrons? You haven't kill one of them, right?"

"No, Senior. I haven't. Thanks to your teachings, my cauldrons are all happy and well."

"Glad to hear that." Li Fei tapped Meng Han's shoulder, causing the latter to stands upright.
