Moment of truth

"Did something happen after I left?" Daniel asked Zacky while puffing his cigarette.

"N..... no master nothing happened," Zacky said while looking somewhere but not at his master's eyes.

"I am just worried about you and that's why I asked." Zacky said again." Also I just realized that hiding it from her is not a good idea. Don't you think?" Zacky is talking very hesitatingly.

Zacky knows all these things that Jenny told him are not new to his master. Daniel knows all these things like what he is doing or what is the circumstance of his action or what will happen if Era comes to know the truth but maybe he has some plan about it which Zacky still doesn't know or.... maybe he is just doing whatever is coming in his mind without thinking it twice because that's how his Mafia mind works.

But... does not mean all these time when he fall in love with Era or being friends with her or take care of her are all the things that his Mafia mind told him to do just because he liked someone for the very first time in his life. And so now he wants her no matter what or he really wants to win Era over with his pure heart and for that he is ready to do whatever it's needed.

Daniel is sitting on his chair puffing the cigarette without saying any words.

"What if miss gets to know about your real identity?" Zacky asked. Daniel smirk. After a lot of time later Daniel give a reaction to what Zacky was asking.

"What do you think will happen if Era gets to know?" finally Daniel speaks to Zacky. He stayed quiet hearing him. He didn't dare to say the afterward. "That she will leave me?" Daniel asked again and stand up to go to a cupboard to take out a wine bottle.

"Do you think I will let that happen?" Daniel asked without looking at him as he is pouring wine into his glass.

"But master what..." Zacky was about to say something when he was stopped by Daniel again.

"I will not let that happen ever." Daniel knows what Zacky is about to say and so he didn't give him any chance to finish his sentence.

"Even if Era gets to know who I am, still I will not let her leave me. I will make her fall in love with me so hard that she, herself will never leave me." Daniel said again with a high voice.

Zacky can feel the fire in his master's eyes. He can see how serious Daniel is when he was talking about it. This is the first time of Zacky that he looked at his master while talking about it or else every time they talk about Daniel's expressions always change quickly.

That night Daniel couldn't sleep much. He knows whatever Zacky said from the very beginning that one day the moment of truth going to come in front of Era and that moment of truth gonna be the hardest time of her life. Daniel knew that from the very beginning but didn't know why he didn't want to think about the possibility. He didn't want to know the consequences.

It is already late at night. Daniel is puffing on his cigarette sitting on the balcony and watching the front view from his mension. His room is located on the second floor and in the front of his mension. So from there, he can see the front view of his mension very well.

Like the guards who are guarding his mension very carefully, Tommy who is sleeping in his cage, he has a lot of people around him but still, he is lonely. He is lonely because all these people are there to do their duty but no one is there to love him, to understand him.

Suddenly a Knock came on his door and Zacky came inside but Daniel is still sitting on the balcony.

It seems like Zacky hasn't slept yet as well. "Master," he called." We need to go to Vegas today."

Hearing that then Daniel gives Zacky a side look.

"Rio Albert's people have confined our man to their dwelling place," Zacky said again.

"Prepare the plane." Daniel frowned and ordered Zacky.

"Okay, master."Zacky bowed but before he could go back he stopped and again looked at Daniel," Then..... what about miss?"

Zacky asked Daniel because he knows if they go there today, then they will not be able to come back before at least one week and so his master won't be able to see his miss for more than the one week now. So is that okay with him?

It's almost 5:00 a.m. in the morning. The sun hasn't come out yet and there are not many people in the street as well. Era is sleeping peacefully in her bed.

she is in a very deep sleep and also sleeps like a child as if roaming all over the bed. In her sleep, she doesn't know if she is sleeping in the right place or if will she fall down from the bed. If she sleeps like that she doesn't care. Actually... she doesn't even know that she does all this.

Tonight is also the same. She is sleeping peacefully but if she knew how she is sleeping now then she could never fall asleep so easily ever again.

"Awwww~I want to eat ice cream. Naam...nam..nam." Era is mumbling in her sleep. Maybe she has seen an Ice cream truck and so wants to eat ice cream now in her dream.

Even if it was a dream still she didn't forget to think about food or her favorite ice cream.

Suddenly sweet laughter could be here from beside Era's bed. Someone is sitting beside her bed or if I say beside where she is sleeping and watching her peacefully for some time now. Like someone is observing her for quite a long time.
