Diana gets to meet Era...

A few passed and everyone is quite busy with their work. Today Era is going to the Mak Corporation for the first time alone. She is starting her project work today.

Today Era was feeling a little lazy to cook breakfast for herself and so thought of buying it from outside before going to Mak Corporation.

So she went to a restaurant to buy some waffles and an americano.

She is happy to see her food. It's been a long time since she is buying food for herself. But she couldn't get to have a single bite before a man passed by her very quickly.

And as her whole attention was on the waffles and so she couldn't get to notice that man and so bumped into him.

" Aaa~," Era said in shock because she didn't see him coming. Her waffles are now on the floor. She couldn't save her food.

Even after seeing that, that man didn't stop but went far away in hurry. Maybe he was getting late for his work.

Era also didn't say anything to that man because she believes that, that man might not have noticed her as well and bumped into Era.

But she pouted seeing her waffles which are now laying on the street and totally wasted. She couldn't even get to taste those. And so Era is sad.

She is now picking up those from below. Now she can not even go back and buy some again. Because it will be such a waste of money to again buy.

Suddenly she heard someone calling her name and so looked up to see.

" Aunty Era!!" Era saw a chubby little boy who is calling her while running toward her.

" Ryu, what are you doing here?" Era asked in surprise.

" Aigoo~ Was it a waffle?" Ryu asked while watching Era picking up the food from the floor.

" Yeah," Era replied with an apologetic smile. "What are you doing here?"

" I came here with my mother to have breakfast," Ryu replied.

" Ryu, why did you run?" Suddenly a woman comes from behind. She is looking quite young and gorgeous in her appearance.

" Mom, didn't tell you about aunty Era? Here she is" Ryu said.

" Aunty Era??" Suddenly this name hit her mind.

Isn't she Daniel's girlfriend? And so she started to come this way as quickly as possible.

" Hi, so you are Era?" Diana come to Era and asked with a huge smile.

" Hello!" Era stands up and gives a small bow in awkwardness. " Yes ma'am. I am Era. Era Steve."

" Oh, come on. Don't call me ma'am." Diana replied while shaking her hand in the air. " You can call me sister Diana. I am Ryu's mother."

At first, Era looked a little shocked. Because she is not looking like she is a mother. She looks very young then her appearance.

" l don't look like Ryu's mother right?" Diana read through Era easily and said with a smile.

Era quickly changed her look hearing Diana. "Nice to meet you, sister Diana."

" Mom, why don't we go inside and talk while eating?" Ryu said.

Of course, he would say that not because he wants his mother to spend some of the long-awaited time with his aunty Era but because he is very hungry right now.

" Of course, why not," Diana replied in excitement.

Sometimes she really feels proud of her son for saying the right things in the right place.

After that Diana drag Era again into that restaurant before Era could protest about it. Ryu also followed them behind with excitement that finally he going to eat. And planned to eat more in his mind.

" So, tell me about you, Era. What do you do?" Diana asked.

This is the opportunity she was looking for so long. So she gonna use it properly. Because who knows when she gonna meet her again. It was a lucky day that she coincidentally get to meet her or else coming near Era is very difficult.

" l am an architect illustrator and currently working at Eastern company." Era replied.

" Oh, really?" Diana said. " By the way, l heard that you have taken care of my son with Dan. Thank you so much for that."

Ryu is just eating his burger and looking at his mother from time to time. He is getting mesmerized by his mother's actions. He never saw his mother acting so sweet and calm.

" That's nothing. I also enjoyed hanging out with him." Era said.

" By the way, what were you doing here?" Era asked.

" l was bored eating mom's not-so-tasty food every day and so thought of having breakfast outside today before going to school," Ryu replied.

" Oh really? But you didn't tell me earlier that you don't like my food." Diana said while pinching his chubby cheeks hardly.

" Aaa~," Ryu said in pain. " No, your cooking is very delicious mamma. And so our Tommy loves to eat it the most." He said while eating his burger.

Era couldn't understand, was it a compliment or a taunt? So, she thought to ignore it and smiled.

Diana also ignored Ryu. Because she knows that her son surely taunted her.

" So what do your parents do Era?" Diana asked.

Hearing her question, Era paused for some time. Because she couldn't understand how to answer this question. Not everyone can like an orphan.

" l don't have any parents. They died when l was young." Era replied with a sad smile.

Diana also felt bad for asking her that question. She shouldn't go that deep.

" l am sorry to hear that. But it's nice that you have done so great all by yourself. So proud of you." Diana said.

Era looked at Diana with a surprised look upon hearing that Diana didn't judge her.

When Era and Diana were talking to each other, Ryu is quietly stealing some fries from his mother's plate.

" What?" Diana laughed. " Did you think l was going to judge you?" Diana said while giving her plate to Ryu. She saw that Ryu was stealing from her plate.

Era kept quiet. Everyone can read her face very easily.

" l am okay as long as my brother likes you," Diana said directly which made Era blush.

So to avoid this awkwardness Era quickly diverts the topic.

" By the way, how did you come here? Do you live nearby?" Era asked.

And before Diana could reply, Ryu gulped all the food in his mouth at once and said quickly, " We came here by taxi."

Diana frowned hearing her son. Why would they come by taxi? Did he ever see what a taxi looks like?

" Really? Where do you live then?" Era asked.

" We live near Beverly park," Ryu replied.

Era becomes shocked. " Did you come here every day by taxi to go to your school from Beverley park??"

Ryu paused for some time about what to answer. He doesn't even know how much it costs to come here by taxi. He never even ride one in his entire life.

So with a very puzzle face and by working his mind a hundred times more, he said, " Aaa~No. We come here by bus every day. But we took a taxi because we missed the bus today."

Diana is getting very confused. Why her don is lying?

" Oh." Era said in relief.

" So where do you go next? To your office?" As Diana is not understanding what is going on and so she decided to change the topic.

" No, l will go to the Mak Corporation." Era replied.

Ryu split his coke hearing Era's answer. Mak Corporation??

" Why would you go there?" Ryu asked in shock.

" Because l am working on the new hotel project for Mak Corporation. Today is my first day going there." Era said in excitement.

" Do my uncle know that you are coming?" Ryu asked in a low voice.
