Chapter Two Hundred and Sixty Three

George POV

Max and I walked back to our suite after we have two glasses of whiskey cause we are avoiding not to get drunk. We walked inside and we heard voices coming from the room Sarah and I stays, I assume that they are inside there talking. Out of curiosity to know what they are talking about, I moved closer to the door and Max followed behind to be able to hear them clearly. That is when I heard the words that literally broke me, I know that I lied to Sarah about what is really going on with Max because I already assured my best friend that his secret is safe with me until he decide to tell it himself.

Sarah having the thoughts that I am cheating on her that is why I did not tell her the truth is really heart breaking. I love Sarah so much and cheating on her is the last thing I will do. Am sorry bro that I drag you into this, Max apologized. It's not your fault that Sarah don't trust me enough and I will do this again, cause you are my best friend and brother and we should have each other back all the time I assured him. Still am sorry and you should explain to Sarah that I made you lie to her, don't be mad at her cause she has every right to think that way, Max said to me.

We left the door and sat down at the balcony cause I have lost every interest in listening to their conversation. We were at the balcony, when Sarah walked pass us without talking to any of us and entered into Max and Ella room. She came out with Ella box and walked back to our room still not talking to us, wait is Ella going to stay in the same room with us while I am there that will be so awkward. We sat down there like zombies while watching her movement. She came outside with my box, what! ? She is throwing me out of the room, but why? 

I walked up to her and held her wrist to halt her movement, hey, what's going on? Why are you taking my bag to Max room? I asked her. Well because Ella is not comfortable staying with Max right now and there is no way am going to leave her to deal with this alone, that is why am going to stay with Ella while you stay with your best friend, Sarah started using that sarcastic tone on the last part. Are you also punishing me cause of this? I asked her eager to know what her answer will be and also afraid to hear it. 

You lied to me George but don't make this about you cause my focus now is my best friend who is hurting, Sarah said. I nodded my head telling her that I understand, I took my bag from her and walked to the room to drop it. While walking to the room I overheard Max asking after Ella, how is she? He asked. Miserable, hope you are happy now? Sarah answered and asked and walked away without sparing him another glance.
