George POV

Getting Sarah's mother's approval was one of the best things to happen to me, now all that is left for me is to get to the location and make sure that Ella is there with Sarah. It will be like a DejaVu, recreating how we officially started as a couple but this time around, our families are here to witness it. I called Max to be sure that Ella will be able to bring Sarah to the location, I know that Sarah will be mad at me at this point cause I hardly pay attention to her this past week. I have also been lying to her that I am meeting with a client, which is sure that she already found out that there is no client cause Ella told me that she is complaining bitterly and all I am trying to do is to give her the best proposal.

Max assured me that Ella has everything under control, there is no need for me to be worried. Not too long My mother arrived together with Sarah's mother, I guess my mother drove to Sarah's place to bring her mother personally to this place. I hugged both of them and thank them for coming to cheer for me. I heard a sound of a car approaching, I know that must be Sarah and Ella coming, My mother and Sarah's mother know that it is time for them to hide. They followed Max to the place they will stay and watched what is going on without Sarah spotting them. Ella stepped out of the car first and move to the passenger side to open the door for Sarah.

Sarah came out of the car and she was blindfolded, I wonder how Ella got her blindfolded. Ella led her to me, we stood before the beach cause we are at the Lover's Point Park and the serene views that gave the place a romantic vibe are still intact. But this time I had the decorators decorate the place with flowers and there are tables set for us to eat after Sarah accepts my proposal. Am not nervous or afraid that she will turn me down, call it confidence but I know that my lady loves me and I love her so much. Ella and Sarah approached me and stop in front of me, Ella let go of Sarah's hand and stand a few meters away from her to give us space.

Sarah is still blindfolded and I have to remove the blindfold, when I removed the blindfold, she stared at me like she don't understand who is standing before her, I guess that's the effect of being blindfolded. George? She called in a questioning tone. Yes, it's me, babe, I said to her. She looked around her surroundings and gasped. Wait, I know this place, she uttered looking so surprised. Of course, you know this place, this is where we officially become a couple, I told her. She looked at me with confusion on her face, so, what are we doing here again? She asked. Sarah, am not good with words to express what am feeling for you but one thing I want to assure you is that I love you, I said to her while am trying to take the ring out of my back pocket.

Sarah, I want this love to be permanent, I want to be waking up every morning looking at your beautiful face, I want to do this forever with you, So Sarah Croft will you make me the happiest man on earth by accepting to be my wife? I asked her with one knee on the ground and a ring on my finger. I looked at her, she is crying, I think that was tears of joy and I can't wait for her to say yes but the yes did not come, rather she was nodding her head in acceptance. I think she is speechless, I quickly slide the ring on her finger and hugged her. She is crying softly now, Hey, why are you crying? I asked her to be sure that those were tears of joy.

Am happy that is why I am crying, I was not expecting this at all, I already accepted to move in with you but am not expecting that you will back it up with a proposal, She explained. Well, I always like to do things in the right way and I don't think your mother will be pleased with me and my mother also is not a fan of moving in without doing the proper thing, I told her. Let me guess this is the client you have been meeting with for this past week,? She asked me. Just as I thought she did not buy the excuse of meeting a client. Yeah, guilty as charged, I want to give you a memorable proposal, I explained to her. Well, congratulations you succeeded in doing that, cause I don't think I will be able to forget this easily, She told me.

Just then my mother and her mother stepped out together with Max and Aunty Rose, I informed Aunty Rose at the last minute and explained my reason for not involving her from the beginning. Sarah looked shocked when she saw them, she turned to me pouting. You told them and you did not tell me about this, she complained. I did not tell you cause I want it to be a surprise and it will not be a surprise if you are aware of it, I whispered to her cause they are getting closer. That makes sense, she said, and move out of my arms to hug others and receive their congratulations. My mother was smiling from ear to ear and I know she is already making plans for the wedding and it didn't take her long to prove me right.

We should hurry up with the food cause I have a wedding to plan, she said smiling at me while wiggling her eyebrows. Do you mean we have a wedding to plan? Sarah's mother tried to clarify from my mother. Of course, Laura, we have a wedding to plan, my mother assured her. I will sit out on this one cause I have a wedding to plan too, Aunty Rose said and everyone started laughing. This is how I want my family to be but the likes of Uncle Steve are making it difficult for me.
