Chapter 94

“No!” Max jumps up to grab the steering column and veers away from the building. The pilot struggles to remove the knife from his neck as blood spills out of his mouth.

“Samantha!” Ryder yells!

I look out of the helicopter. At that exact moment, Ryder is about to dive off the building. I turn one last time and look at Max.

“Noooo!” Max yells as he tries to grab me while trying to steer the helicopter.

“Fuck you!” I yell with a smile.

With all my might, I jump from the helicopter, holding my breath and reaching for Ryder! Ryder then throws something toward the helicopter blades!

I scream as I reach for him! Closing my eyes, he catches me and holds me tightly.

Hanging tightly onto Ryder, I suddenly feel his grip on me loosen as he yells in pain! We slam onto the side of the building wall!

I look toward the helicopter. Max is sitting in the pilot seat, trying to steer it.

There is suddenly an explosion near the blades!
