Chapter 1

~Curiosity~

My eyes followed the person who was scrambling around the lab. Seems like they're trying to find something.

"what are you trying to find, doctor?"

I asked as i approached them. They turned around.

"oh! Angela, it's nothing important I'm just looking for something"

They said as they turned back to finding "it".

"okay.."

"ah! Found it!"

They raised their hands up, which held a turquoise bow. They hurriedly put it down near the table and turned around again.

"now, Angela, are you sure you're ready?"

They said with worried looking eyes.

"i am, doctor, you know it has been my dream to live a human life!"

I said proudly. Eyes glistening. Looking directly at them. They just sigh.

"i see..... Well then, lay inside the tube and get yourself comfortable, it will be a long journey to Earth"

They said as they guided me inside the tube. I carefully laid inside. Being still, with the small space surrounding me. Then they looked at me with their brightest smile.

"Are you ready, Angela?"

My feet skipped as i wondered furthed away from the tube. I felt so happy. Then a sudden thought came into mind.

'sea..... How about the sea?!'

"the blue sea water, i want to see it! But..... Where will i find it?"

I stopped in my tracks.

'maybe i can ask someone?'

I looked to my left and saw a stone path. I joyfully walked over to the road. My shoes clacking on the cement. I scanned my surroundings, looking for a person.

'for a town this beautiful, its quite empty'

I thought as i continued to walk on the path. Then my eyes catched a certain thing. I saw a person standing just a few feet away. He had beautiful orange locks and seemed to be a little pale, like he hasn't gone out much.

I hurried my walking, as excitement filled me.

Thinking of the first time i was going talking with someone, other than the doctor.

"uhm... Excuse me!"

The boy looked up from his phone. And stared at me seemingly uninterested.

"I'm sorry for bothering you, but i just wanted to ask where the sea is!"

The boy's brows furrowed.

"the sea?... Oh you mean the beach?"

He said putting his phone in his pocket. And fully looked at me.

"the beach? What's that...?"

I asked quite confused.

"well its the place you're looking for"

"then please if you're not busy can you take me there?"

I said filled with hope. The boy looked at me again with his fairly lime green eyes. The sighed.

"well its not like im doing anything, so why not, and anyways im headed there too"

He said as he shrugged his shoulders.

"really you're taking me there?"

"yeah, so come on!"

He said motioning his hand.

"thankyou so much!"

He turned around and started walking, as i followed him from behind.

"hope Nana won't mind a friend"

He mumbled before continuing on walking.

"oh, I'm Harley by the way"

He said not botherinh to turn around.

"Angela, my name's Angela"

I looked at him my eyes glistening, my heart beating.

'someone asked my name!'

I thought as my smile brightened.

"nice to meet you, Angela"
