Jealous of Leah the Fluffy Dog

"Don't look, Princess. Damian is going to eat Leah," Rai said. I could hear the alarm in his voice. He seemed horrified by what he saw.

“But..” I protested.

"Please don't look, Princess," Rai said nervously as he kept his hold on the back of my head, preventing me from looking at Damian and Leah.

Is Damian really going to eat Leah? I have to save her!

I didn’t want Leah to get eaten by Damian, so I braved myself and struggled against Rai's hold to turn my head around to look at Damian and Leah.

When my gaze landed on them, I saw that Damian had his mouth over Leah's body.

"Nooo!! Don't eat Leah!!" I screamed and quickly snatched Leah away from Damian.

The moment I snatched Leah away, both Damian and Rai burst out laughing again.

I then realized that they were just teasing me.

I went to Damian while holding Leah in one hand and karate-chopped his shoulder with my other hand.

"Bad Damian," I sobbed.

I turned to Rai and did the same thing to him.

“Bad Rai,” I Karate-chopped his shoulder too.

They were shocked to see me crying and began fussing around, coaxing me to stop crying.

“Both of you are cruel,” I sobbed again.

“Princess, I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to make you cry,” Rai said.

“Kat, so sorry for teasing you,” Damian said at the same time.

“I don’t want Leah to get eaten,” I sobbed.

“We are so sorry, Princess.” Rai apologized again

“Please don’t cry, Kat. I will never eat Leah,” Damian coaxed me.

They kept coaxing me until I stopped crying.

“You won’t eat Leat, will you, Damian?” I asked with a sniffle.

“I’m even scared to hold her; how can I eat her?” Damian asked.

“Please don’t eat Leah. If you want to eat Leah, then you have to eat me first,” I tried to sound brave, but inside I was scared.

“I’ll hit Damian if he wants to eat Leah,” Rai assured me.

I nodded.

“Feeling better, Princess?” Rai asked after some moments passed, and I began to calm down.

“Yeah..” I told him as I buried my face in his chest.

“Don’t eat Leah!” I turned to Damian and warned him sternly.

“Cross my heart and hope to die,” he crossed his fingers over his heart.

“Okay, I believe you,” at last, I told him.

***

One afternoon, I let Leah walk with me from the bedroom. Suddenly she ran toward the stairs and fell one stair.

“Leah!” I shouted, running toward her, trying to get to her before she rolled down the whole stairs.

I could see Damian running so fast from the living room to catch her, followed by Rai. Damian picked her up and held her in his arm, stroking her and saying, “It’s okay, Leah. You are okay.”

I quickly moved to Damian’s side. “Do you think she’s okay, Damian?”

“I think so. She just fell one stair and doesn’t look like she’s in pain.” Damian said as he kept his hold on Leah and stroked her.

That was when I realized that Damian was not afraid of Leah anymore.

“Damian, you are holding her!” I laughed and clapped my hands.

“Ahhh.. She’s just too cute to be ignored.” He said sheepishly. I grinned at him.

"We should give her water," Rai said as he made his way to the kitchen.

Damian brought Leah to the living room, and Rai sat at the same time. Damian kept stroking Leah while Rai tried to make Leah drink.

I sat down at the piano to see them. Seeing them interact with Leah made me smile. They loved Leah so much that they couldn’t keep their hands off her. Rai would take Leah from Damian and hold her high. Damian would then take Leah off Rai to stroke her; then Rai would take Leah off Damian, and so on until Leah slept. Damian held her against his left chest, stroking her like he was holding a sleeping baby. With Damian’s body so big, Leah looked even smaller being held by Damian. The sight was too cute. They would make great dads, I thought to myself, smiling.

“Hey, guys. Do you love kids?” I asked them.

“Of course.” They both said at the same time while turning their heads toward me.

“All our nephews love Damian. He always plays balls and everything with them.” Rai said, grinning.

“And all our nieces love Rai. He spoiled them. I think they think Rai is a prince charming. You have many competitions, Kat.” Damian laughed.

“Why do you ask, Kat?” Damian asked me.

I just shook my head and smiled.

Our life felt even more perfect after we had Leah. I would be the one playing with Leah, chasing her around the house, rolling balls around for her to catch. Rai was the one who trained Leah, and he would spoil Leah, buying her snacks and clothes. He was the one showering Leah with affection. He even talked to Leah in a baby voice. Damian would be the one holding and stroking Leah till she fell asleep. Both of them didn’t even mind cleaning Leah’s poo and pee.

Leah slept with Damian. He actually wanted Leah to sleep with him on his bed but was scared Leah would fall off the bed, or he would squash her. So, he bought her the best, most comfortable bed he could find for Leah and put it next to his bed. When he woke up, he would pick Leah up and cuddle her.

Seeing them love Leah that much and from our conversations about how little boys loved Damian and how little girls loved Rai made me think how great it would be to have a boy with Damian and a girl with Rai.

Huh?! What was I thinking about wanting to have kids with each of them? God, what is happening to me? First, I thought of Damian as mine, and now I want to have kids with both of them! What kind of woman have I become?

I looked at them again. My thought must have been affected by the sight of them with Leah.

I really loved looking at them with Leah, though seeing them that closed to Leah made me jealous since I didn’t get much attention anymore. And I told them about it.

“You guys love Leah more than you love me.” I pouted as I sat in between them.

“Are you jealous of Leah, Kat?” Damian laughed at my words.

“Well..” I let my words trail off.

“I still love you more than I love Leah, Princess,” Rai said as he kissed me, but his eyes twinkled. I knew that he was amused at my jealousy.

“You guys gave so much attention to Leah. You didn’t even hold me or kiss me much anymore. You spent more time with Leah than with me. You neglected me.” I pouted but blushed while saying that. I realized that my words were silly, but I did feel it. I felt neglected.

“Come here, Kat. Let me show you how much I love you.” Damian pulled me close and whispered seductively in my ear. I blushed and punched him before facing Rai and burying my face in his chest.

My heart was pounding when I heard Damian say those words. I knew he was just joking, but it felt real. If not for him smirking, I’d have thought that he was serious, and for a moment, I wanted him to show me how much he loved me. I wanted to know how it felt to be loved by Damian. God, what was happening to my brain?

They both just laughed at me. Damian pulled me away from Rai to kiss my forehead; then Rai pulled me to him to kiss my lips. Since then, they gave much attention to me again. Life indeed was perfect.
